I'm not only blaming Luton for the VAR, but for Everton and Forest's points deductions. And for Andrew Tate.

I'll have to agree on Tate, and it's mystifying how Forest and us have been deducted points, but nobody deducts points from Luton because of that scumbag.

  2. I'd be irritated if we'd had all those three almost-calls go against us (and given it's Ashley Young in all three, I'd probably be livid). So I can't really be mad at Forest for being mad.

Maybe not blame Luton, though. The poorest club in the PL isn't likely to be the one bribing VAR.

Israel to the best of my knowledge still has never confirmed they have nukes, even though everyone knows that they do. Governments in general do their best to hide information. Would it shock you if in the morning you read that Australia had them? Or how about Canada? Looking at the list of G20 countries I guess South Africa and Japan would surprise me the most. Mexico too. Everyone else, fuck if I know.

Well, as you say, everyone knows Israel has the bomb, and it has been common knowledge for decades. So given the NFT, the knowledge of the tech, the raw materials needed, and the destructive potential - yeah, I'd be extremely surprised if any other G20 had the bomb.

I have no idea how you reason otherwise, tbh.

We at least seem to have found some form and improved our defence for the run in. At this time, if we have to sell either Bruno or Isak to balance the books, I'm probably going with Bruno. Assuming Isak isn't always in and out due to injury.

Though I'm looking forward to getting Tonali back, and we now have tied Joelinton down. I think they could be fucking great together if we manage to keep Bruno.

Want to take a bet on Tonali?

Useless factoid of the day: Oslo is _by far_ Norway's largest city. Something like 1/8 Norwegians live there. The only club hailing from Oslo in our top division this season is... the YMCA (KFUM Oslo).

This is the best factoid of Norwegian football these days.

In Norway-news, Bryne FK today played away to newly-relegated-from-the-top-division Stabæk. We gave away a cheap goal on the counter early, and after that we spurned a couple of good chances. But that we could play on even terms with a promotion favourite away from home - I'll take that as positive.

Also, another useless factoid of Norwegian football: Stabæk is managed by Bob Bradley of PL infamy.

  6. Well .. three points. About the best to be said about that match. Much appreciated, the keeper helping us to a goal, otherwise we still look like we don't really know what a goal is, or what to do with the ball near a goal. Sometime, we might want to change that a bit.

Yes comparing with France or sweden is not very sound, but there are other comparable countries and they do seem to have their own problems and still be more efficient than the UK: Norway for example is massive but most of it is mountains so actually very difficult/expensive to build there

As one of the resident Norwegians here, and as a heavy user of trains (I have never had a driver's lisence), let me tell you that our train system is extremely inefficient and will compare poorly to just about any European provider.

I've only taken a train in the UK once (Cambridge - Southampton and back), and I didn't have issues on that trip. I do know that my local train is delayed as a matter of priciple, and the regional train (Stavanger - Oslo) has a 1 in 3 chance of being late. Also, it takes 49 minutes longer than what it did 20 years ago.
