  1. Makes sense. D&D must have known about how Raff dies ahead of time and that's how they chose to kill off Polliver on the show.
  2. They don't play huge roles in the remaining books. They have their own storylines sure, but their storylines have almost no impact on the overall story. They have obviously been cut. There is zero reason to add Victarion and Euron into the story now that Asha is going off to do her ADwD storyline a bit early.
  3. Its not that we like Uncat but more that we want the BwB's last hurrah.
  4. Not having Lady Stoneheart would be the biggest mistake the writers have made this season.
  5. Pretty obvious that the Greyjoy brothers were cut. Asha heads to the dreadfort so she can jump right into her ADwD storyline.
  6. And how do you know it's not fact? Because nobody told you? Protip: the number of actresses on the show who've been on all 3 seasons and done nudity in them can be counted on one hand. Process of elimination points to Ros.
  7. Wow way to not read the article. Oona Chaplin was talking about another actress on the set. Still, kind of shitty that they wrote Ros out of the show simply because she wouldn't do nudity anymore.
  8. So were there any parts other than the bear pit that GRRM didn't write? I'm guessing a lot of things like Talisa's pregnancy were things decided in the writer's room, and GRRM just had to go with it. Unless he was writing Talisa to be a spy for sure.
  9. Honestly the biggest shock for me this episode is that Jaime/Brienne didn't throw Locke into the bear pit. I'm wondering if his character will actually survive the series.
  10. yep this is either a red herring or an actual plot development that ensures Talisa won't replace Jeyne Poole.
  11. Talisa being pregnant pretty much means she'll die, right? Unless they want to depict an abortion on the show.
  12. dude you need to stop applying your personal moral values to the show.
  13. No, his name is Olyvar. Which sounds very similar. I admit I thought I heard Polliver as well on the show. Really, they change Asha to Yara, but they decide to randomly name the new guy a name that will sound close to a character that will show up again next season?
  14. Yes she got it right. There's a reason that Aegon is shorted to Egg you know...
  15. The red wedding is the only reason they're showing Robb so much in the first place. If he lived longer in the books they probably would not have bothered showing him so much in S2 and S3.
  16. I really hope Talisa is a spy. It would spare us the ridiculous fan proposed storyline of Talisa replacing Jeyne Poole.
  17. pretty sure mycah also never had a shot at marrying Arya they are just following the books... somewhat. in the books Tywin wanted her to marry willas but willas is cut so Loras takes his place. you're right it doesn't make sense but hey, you can't blame them for following the books!
  18. Seems like a lot of people are misinterpreting Gendry's "You would be my lady" line. He wasn't saying that arya would be his wife - he was saying that if he returned with her to Riverrun, he wouldn't be friends with her anymore because she is high born and he's just a lowly blacksmith who wouldn't be allowed to talk to her. He never said that in the tv show now did he? There are character changes, get over it. Loras was an incredibly minor character in the books. At least he's getting a lot of pivotal screen time on the show thanks to his unique position and the need for character truncation.
  19. Great episode, probably the best writing for the season (besides GRRM's episode). Shireen didn't look monstrous enough - you could tell she was a cute girl with face makeup on, but that's a minor nitpick. Loras sex scene was unexpected but makes sense for the plotline truncation. Ending was brilliant - great way to send a shiver down tv audience spines.
  20. It was important for Jaime but do you really think non-book readers would draw the same conclusion as book readers when it comes to Selmy? And we don't even know if they will use the Robert the Strong thing.
  21. Pretty sure Sandor was made KG, but even if he wasn't, it does not matter, as they are clearly not making a big deal about the kingsguard rules on the show. It's just like how the Kettlebacks were removed from the show. Who knows if Balon Swann ever gets used. I think many KG characters will be replaced or plotlines that require them changed.
  22. Right. We won't see him agian until the red viper duel, which will be next season. There's no reason to show him this season. That said, I doubt Conan will be back since he left on bad terms. They will just need to CG the hell out of Ian Whyte so he actually looks menacing in that duel.
