    Andrzej Sapkowski II

I agree. And beyond the writing I'm delighted by his scrupulous research. And I'm from Lower Silesia, Narrenturm is happening basically at my doorstep :)

I hate this name in GoT - it have sense in books, where the Others are very pale etc. And here with this dark predator look? It makes no sense, because they walk through the snow? oh, hell, the Night's Watch deals with snow also. It's quite funny, I never complain about actors appearance and their similarity to the orginal etc. as far they can act, but when someone changes names I get nervous :)

I honestly don't think so. It's like saying, that people will confuse Sansa with Margaery if they have the same name: both young and pretty, both dressed like a lady. As I said before: Asha and Osha are not similar (different type of beauty) and even if someone, for example Theon will speak of Asha, careful viewer should have no problem with understanding who he's talking about. If he/she is not careful, well, probably is confused already with the story. My native language is Polish and here pronunciation Asha/Osha is very similar. But come on we are not stupid/deaf and it's not like this is the only pair of words that sounds alike ;)

although I understand the argument of pronunciation, I am not conviced aboud the idea. Asha and Osha are never on the screen on the same time, they are in different parts of the Westeros, they have different storylines, they even don't look alike... Is it so unusual, that two people on the huge continent have quite similar names?
