  1. Remember though, she has a very big part to play down the road. So those super important scenes will likely have more impact with a more developed Shae.
  2. If you haven't read the books, but don't get that Jamie was manacled and exhausted from being kept prisoner for months which put him at a disadvantage, then you are kind of an idiot. It was completely obvious that Brienne had the upper-hand which Jamie realized after she slammed him into the wall.
  3. What the heck? Do you not know what happened at the Fist of the First Men?
  4. I have to say that I had never heard of SanSan until last night. I had thought that I&F was immune to the shipper crap that almost ruined Lost fandom. Guess I was wrong. :-/
  5. I just wanted to point out how funny the "Stannis would never lead the charge!" comments are when you consider that the man who invented Stannis and knows him better than anybody wrote the episode,
  6. God I'm already annoyed at how little credit Tyrion is going to get.
  7. They did such a good job not releasing even one single pic of the green wildfire. Nice job by HBO on that front.
  8. 10/10 A stunning success. Whatever the opposite of jumping the shark is, the show did it tonight. Just amazing
  9. It's a spoiler thing for people who haven't read the books. His earlier reviews had people posting things like. "Wow Joffrey is a jerk...can't wait until he dies in book 3!!!"
  10. Is there a huge difference between B & R being dead, and B & R being held captive in a castle that's about to be under siege? Either way Cat's a mess and desperate to protect her kids any way that she possibly can. Since Jamie looked like he wasn't long for this world, she acted the only way she knew how. It must be SO difficult to fit this book into 10 hours. Why can't people realize that and brush off the small things? Either way Jamie and Brienne are off on their adventure. Who cares about the tiny details of how it came about?
  11. One hour that he felt was disjointed and D&B are losing control of the story. He's usually better than that.
  12. I think the love story angle just plays better on TV. To me it makes a lot more sense that he marries her because he wants to vs his honor. Especially since he has to know that there will be severe repercussions.
  13. "Robb and Talisa or whoever - meh. I don't see what we gain from this." Man I really really really don't understand people who are saying this. What we gain from this is a path to what could be one of the most amazing scenes on TV ever. Rob just can't show up and be married without us seeing how it happens. It has to be passionate as breaking his vow is a very, very big deal. So what we're seeing with Rob and Talisa/Jeyne and Cat releasing Jamie is set up for the Red Wedding. This stuff is ESSENTIAL for people who haven't read the books.
