I'm a biology and human physiology graduate from Scotland.  Coming from the most beautiful place I know, I take the historical landmarks and scenery around me for granted, although recently I've realised how impressive my local area is.  I love architecture, but haven't seen enough of it in person.  I'm a huge TV and film buff, have an uncanny knowledge of all things sport and I love a bizarre spectrum of music too- I play guitar, singing only when forced.  Being a science grad I'm rational and logical, therefore an atheist and realist, however I'm accepting of people's reasons for disagreeing with me - just don't rub it in my face.

Only discovered GRRM thanks to HBO, but that hasn't stopped me dedicating an irrational amount of time to all things ASOIAF since January 2011.  It's seriously changed my life, to the point where I'm now considering reviving my attempts at writing my own novel and irritating those around me with one book recommendation over and over again.
