  1. Some information will reach BWB that Sansa is in the Eyrie. As far as I recall, in the books no one beyond Littlefinger knows Alayne's true identify to be Sansa...So I'm not sure how that will leak.

Jaime will somehow convince UnCat that he has never stopped looking for Sansa nor did he ever break his vows toward her. Jaime also spared the limp-fish so ehhhhhh! C'mon!

The Eyrie is nigh impregnable. The BWB cannot impregnate it.

Jaime however...Jaime sticks his dick wherever he wants. Who would deny him at any gate?

    Seems plausible.

Only to meet the Sansa diaphragm once inside the Gates of the Moon.

  2. I may have missed it in another thread, but does anyone think there is any significance between the obvious phoenetic similarities between Syrio Forel, 1st sword of Bravos and Phario Forel with "the bloodiest quill in Bravos"?

I think he is a relative. Perhaps Syrio wrote his letters describing his time in KL describing Cersei, Tyrion*, Jaime, Robert and the Stark sisters. He is then murdered by the Lannister regime.

If the family [Phario Forel] was informed of Syrio's death, it would've most likely been blamed on the Starks.

*Perhaps Syrio and Tyrion crossed paths before the Winterfell trip, at a tavern or brothel.

  3. The Dornish aren't worth shit if they are forced to fight a victorious Tyrell army. Besides you must think ahead. Faegon still wants to marry Dany, he needs a reason to marry Arianne. If the Tyrell suffer the massive blow that I'm predicting than Faegon gets that reason. If he acquires the Dornish army he will be able to jump into the power vacuum left behind by the defeat of the Tyrells. Also by expanding his army in this way, he'll become a beacon for the disillussioned Reach men. Those Reach men aren't going to submit to the Ironborn (who can't reach them if they stay far enough from the rivers and sea) and with the Tyrells severely weakened they'll flock to their saviour Faegon.

The Tyrell victory over the Ironborn could be a pyrrhic victory. In that they win, but loose their own fleet in the process.

  4. i think Aegon will pull a Theon on her

You mean fail to kill her because she escapes with her direwolf?

That would be sure way to make Dorne join Aegon.

What other choice would they have? If Margaery dies (or Aegon perceives her as cursed) they have no other way of making a Tyrell grandchild sit the Iron Throne.

I think Aegon has been raised to be too honorable for that (Son of Rhaegar). I can see JC getting his hands dirty so that Aegon does not have to.

the raven's in the Godswood at storm's end whispered "Justice for Elia" "true son" "Justice for Elia" "true son", could goad Aegon into murder.

  5. What would be the motive to do so? Right now, the Tyrells are the boss at KL. They control Tommen and his small council, and Tommen is fond of Margaery. Why would they give that up to cower at Aegon's feet instead? Especially while Aegon is planning to marry Dany (and failing that, I'd think Arianne has a way better chance than Margaery to marry him)?

If Tommen dies (say, by Varys' hand), then the Tyrells have reason to drop the Lannister/Barathen pretense, but not before that, unless it is a last-ditch effort to get Aegon's favour if Connington and the GC look like winning in spite of Highgarden's best efforts.

Even if Tommen dies, they could marry WIllas to Myrcella.

Where is Myrcella in all of this? Isn't she travelling up to Kings Landing via the Stormlands?

  6. /random thought/

Elia sneaks off to play a cave, caves tend to be in mountains...

both Summerhall and Griffins Roost are near Mountains.

So it seems that there was a cave that sacred to the children of the forest in the mountains near Griffins Roost and therefore very close to Summerhall.

The Prince of Dragonflies and Jenny of Oldstones died at Summerhall. Jenny of Oldstones was friends with that dwarf woman on the hill at high heart, and Jenny said that the dwarf was a child of the forest (having seen an actual child of the forest in ADWD, we know they are nothing like that unfortunate creature woman described in ASOS).

    /Random thought/

  7. Not sure if this has been picked up before but i didn't catch it, in aDWD;

the politline surrounding Aegon is very similar to an episode in Russian history. Boris Godunov was in a similar position to Hand of the King, and was alleged to have ordered the murder of the Tsar's nephew, Dimitri, and upon the Tsars death succeeded the throne. (Kind of similar to Robert's Rebellion although i realise its not quite the same.) Where it becomes interesting however, is that following Boris/Robert's death (over fifteen years later, similar timeline) a civil war erupts where a prince claiming to be Dimitri invades from Poland, and eventually claims the throne. This is pretty similar (IMO) to Aegon's current conquest of Westeros. Its interesting that historians currently believe that the Dimitri was (in order or likelihood); a pretender who was raised to believe he was the true Dimitri, an out-and-out liar, or actually the Prince Dimitri. Perhaps further proof for the speculation elsewhere that Aegon is a normal child raised to believe he is Aegon V?

    How about Aegon=Lambert Simnel.
