I'm Joh. Picked up Game of Thrones a few months ago, now I'm hooked. Halfway through my second re-read of the series right now, and still enjoying it very much. I've been stalking this forum quietly for several months and very much enjoying the debates and discussions and wild crackpot theories. :) Figured it was time to join up.

I'm old (27) and I work too much. I have a two hour commute each way so I have a lot of time to read Sword and Sorcery novels and listen to heavy metal music on the bus. That's about as exciting as I get. :P

Hello. Call me Painty. I love to read but I'm also a huge Sean Bean fan and when the news came round about him being in the HBO series for Game of Thrones I ran out and bought the book. Wow! I am truely amazed I didn't know about these books before.

I'm not even half way thru it right now ( at this moment I'm still at the Tourney part) I'm dieing to race thru the whole thing but I don't want to miss any details. ( Oh what a dilemma!)

I need people to chat with about these books. I'm on one forum for Bernard Cornwell, but that's the only other author's forum I'm a part of.
