  1. So what's the rule for editing contracts that were already posted? I'm assuming what Bronn posted upthread was legit. That we can edit up until the point that the last team posts their contracts. I just changed Taylor Gabriel from 4 years to 1 year if this is not the case, I will switch it back.
  2. Yeah, bit of luck there. I don't think anyone went with the Chefs.
  3. And Groz, when you can get a chance I'd like to switch in J. White for Doug Martin and M. Bennett for T. Kelce in this weeks lineup.
  4. You got Gronkowski for $14? Could've sworn he went for like $28-$30.
  5. Yeah, it was pretty tight. I don't feel like I got a clear cut steal anywhere, really. All the potential steals are crap shoots. Hopefully a couple of them pan out.
  6. Yeah, I get that distinction. We all went into the draft knowing the Pats/Chiefs numbers would count. That said, how many IR players were drafted? I can only recall 2. At any rate, I vote that we enact an IR spot this season, for what it's worth. Here is the lineup and contracts for The Otisburg Yambags. 1. (1) Arizona (Ari - DEF) $2 - 1 year contract 2. (17) Tyreek Hill (KC - WR) $24-4 year contract 3. (40) Davante Adams (GB - WR) $18-1 year contract 4. (49) Matthew Stafford (Det - QB) $17-2 year contract 5. (61) Martellus Bennett (GB - TE) $3-2 year contract 6. (66) Matt Bryant (Atl - K) $2 -1 year contract 7. (75) Doug Martin (TB - RB) $13-1 year contract 8. (78) Alvin Kamara (NO - RB) $6 -4 year contract 9. (95) James White (NE - RB) $1 -4 year contract 10. (106) Robby Anderson (NYJ - WR) $2 -4 year contract 11. (110) Corey Davis (Ten - WR) $7 -4 year contract 12. (112) Taylor Gabriel (Atl - WR) $3 -1 year contract 13. (114) John Ross (Cin - WR) $9 -4 year contract 14. (121) Sterling Shepard (NYG - WR) $4 -4 year contract 15. (123) Paul Richardson (Sea - WR) $1 -4 year contract 16. (141) Terrance Williams  (Dal - WR) $1-contract expiring 17. (142) Jay Ajayi  (Mia - RB) $1-1 more year 18. (143) Travis Kelce  (KC - TE) $15-contract expiring 19. (144) T.Y. Hilton  (Ind - WR) $6-contract expiring 20. (145) Todd Gurley II  (LAR - RB) $23-1 more year 21. (146) Eli Manning  (NYG - QB) $13-contract expiring 22. (147) Dak Prescott  (Dal - QB) $13-2 more years
  7. I hear you, but it is literally apples to apples. This decision would only effect this season one way or the other if we're going to adopt it next season going forward. The game that was already played may be somewhat smaller in scope, but it will also only effect this season. If you look at the point totals already accrued from this one game, it has likely given at least a couple of players a win. That could be a huge factor as far as making the playoffs.
  8. We just did a draft with a game in the bag and those points counting. Not sure how you would weigh an IR slot much heavier than that. Outside of a couple of injured players (Edelmen and Meredith) gotten on the cheap, I don't see much in the way of harm. And consider that those two owners are going to have to burn that IR slot right off the jump. We're all going to have key pieces get injured throughout the course of the season. An IR slot more often than not will at least give you the option of not potentially throwing a game just in order to hold onto an injured keeper. An IR slot is pretty key to this sort of format. /Oh yeah, when do we have to declare contract lengths by?
  9. Pro IR as well. Can't believe you guys haven't done that prior, given the format.
  10. I'd like to have J. White put into a starting RB slot for this week, as 2 of my other RBs are out. And I'd like Bennett in at TE in place of Kelce.
  11. You pull an injured player into that slot and it frees up a roster slot without you having to drop the player.
  12. So when do we have to announce/declare contracts by? And I'm assuming we just post them up here?
  13. Yeah, my team hasn't been updated. Still the same as the last time I logged in.
  14. YOU SHUT YOUR WHORE MOUTH! /and that game was at Arrowhead. //But yeah, it's way too early to count the Pats out. You know they will iron that defense out.
  15. I'm guessing that game fucked everyone's shit up. I know I put way too many points on the Pats. That said, I wouldn't trade it for a different outcome. Love to see the Pats take a beating.
  16. I'll probably be a couple of minutes or so late for the draft tomorrow, as Friday traffic is typically a bit worse than most other days. Will try to jump on on my wife's phone prior if necessary.
  17. Thank you Ser. You drive a hard yet logical bargain.
  18. I get that bit, and I see that it is sound strategy, but Green is a top 4 WR. I feel like he's a win now piece for anyone who gets him in trade, and $37 is probably slightly undermarket for him. Hilton at $6 for only this year doesn't strike me as being ideal given his circumstance. Now if he were on a 2 year deal, it might make more sense. Basically, if I'm going to rebuild (and given the team I have to work with that is the smartest move) I want to maximize that strategy by getting a low priced multi-year piece back.
  19. I'm cool with that. On an unrelated note, I was offered TY Hilton ($6) for AJ Green ($37), both of whom are on the last year of their contracts. I like this idea as I'm likley in a rebuild mode, so it would be nice to get some extra cap space, but I don't find Hilton to be a particularly useful piece, as it looks like Luck might not be healthy anytime soon. Anyone interested in making a potentially better offer?
  20. Thanks for the update. It looks like it just reset all the values down by one. So your 16 point game became your 15 point game, etc, etc.
  21. Yeah, the more the merrier, for sure. I'll try to hook a couple more today if at all possible. Honestly, we usually start with anywhere between 18-22, then typically about a third of those drop out through the course of the season. Typically we end up with like 12-15 who play out the whole string. So we're not far from that average. I'd suggest to everyone playing that you tick the weekly reminder box to your email. That makes it easier to not miss out on a week. Keep in mind also that we all get to drop our lowest week total, so missing a week is not an absolute disaster.
  22. Yeah, I'm assuming that slotting one point there is the way to go. They should've just grayed out that slot and made the rest of the scale 1-15, but they didn't, so I'd put the 1 there. And yeah, that's everybody thus far. I'll continue to send out invites up until gametime tonight though if anyone else wants in.
