    [Spoilers] EP608

I am normally a big fan of the way the show is done. But I have to say this may have been the worst episode ever. I mean it was garbage. The Arya scenes were a huge disappointment, no FM magic and a completely unrealistic gut stab heal. Tyrion and those jokes only for them to be attacked with no warning followed by Dany swooping in was just terrible. The Mountains fight was a huge let down and we get told no trial by combat. The BwB situation makes zero sense either. And the Blackfish, dies off screen? What was the point there?!? This season started out better than season one. But I honestly cannot think of a worse episode. Where are the Sand Snakes? I need some good story telling...
  2. I love the double meanings of some episode titles. "The Mountain and the Viper" is facially a reference to Oberyn and Gregor Clegane. But a second mountain looms large in this episode, the Eyrie. The only question is, who is the viper, Sansa or Little Finger? I thought this was one of the elite episodes, I even liked the bit with the beetles.

But you forget that Talisa Maegry is an anagram for "a great mislay." I rest my case. :P But really you think it's someone else?

Talisa... It's so talisa... I have to think that bit confirms it. She's highly suspect, claims to be low born from volantis but says my lord not "milord." She claims she knows nothing of Westerosi custom but knew the wedding words of the seven and what supplies maesters had. Now she is privy to his plans re Lannisport and Frey and Tywin mentions that he's learned just about everything going on in robbs camp. Im pretty sure it's her.

I also thought the guy who freed Theon was really Ramsay Snow. Fair to assume he'll confess that Bran and Rickon are alive and the show will add some drama to Bran's story line by having his group hide from the Boltons, maybe even split up?
  6. Loved the episode on the whole. The changes made for TV were mostly necessary and I like the choices. Tyrions "One. Two. Three" trap was MASTERFULLY done. I didn't care for the Sansa/Shae scene. My take on Sansa in ACOK is that despite being around all the horrors of King's Landing (Joffrey, Cersei, the Hound) and despite all her bad treatment, she still feels for others and can be motivated to bravery if it will help others. E.g., Ser Dontos, praying with the women during the sack and a few others I'm sure I'm forgetting. I can't wait to hear Arya's prayer... a nice gift from Yoren. Did anyone else notice how much they made him look like Ned? Long hair, the beard... he looked A LOT like Ned.
