  1. are you asking questions you already know the answer to?
  2. Great news, now lets extend that indefinitely and start figuring out what to do with the hundreds of thousand of displaced people who have no homes to return to.
  3. not a single person thinks that. randle got to go. denying history is unbecoming, however.
  4. yeah, and the world started when you were born.
  5. lol, sick. they woud also shoot something like 96%, and we'd just get dunked on over and over. it's 8 second for the backcourt turnover, btw
  6. Yeah, the moment any one of us as much as touched an NBA player going full speed we'd be on the floor. Ive played basketball my entire life and i have zero illusions what would happen if i tried to contest a NBA dunk.
  7. Haven't you heard, the Guardian is Western Al Jazeera. It sucks to have to negotiate with hostage takers, full stop. But if you state your goal is the recovery of said hostages... well, you are forced too. It's not like you can't continue to bomb the shit out of Gaza after you get some of them back.
  8. Man, painful to watch. This guy has that sort of classic politician thing going on where he is able to smile, putting on a socially acceptable face, while spewing bile. To a passerby it might looks like a friendly conversation, to the vendor it is an odious attack. Sad to see in NYC. Sad to see the rise of hate, in general. On the topic of reported civilian deaths in Gaza...One could quibble over the exact number of casualties. One could even say that the number of civilian deaths has been inflated by some percent. But it's not really about the numbers, for some people. The fact that Hamas is believed in anything it says is the issue. To a certain extent, fair enough. Hamas has shown itself to be fucking evil, and in need of getting kicked off of Planet Earth. However, it seems to go even further with some folks. Some people are just flat out offended that anyone would show concern for Palestinian civilians in the face of the brutal attack Israel sustained. We're all anti-Semites and Nazi enablers who should just stfu and accept whatever this Israeli government wants to do. Which is a ridiculous stance to take.
  9. Thanks. And do we know how the Israeli army plans on telling Hamas from civilian once the refugees take shelter in this supposed safe zone?
  10. I know you are parched, self righteous nationalism is thirsty work, but De Nile is a bit further West, sir.
  11. Can someone explain to me what will happened to the hundreds of thousands displaced Palestinians who have fled to South Gaza when Israeli ground forces push towards Khan Younis? I'm unclear what the plan here is.
  12. It's ok, tho, because as long as this current Israeli government, and its supporters, they don't admit to dishing out collective punishment, its not really happening.
  13. Over 12.700 Palestinian people reportedly killed in Gaza since Israel began bombing the densely populated region. Over 5,300 of them are children. Many more civilians missing, and unaccounted for. An unknown number of them held by Israeli forces...somewhere. 56 journalists have been killed. Absolutely grotesque response to the grotesque attack on Oct 7th.
  14. We know, for a fact, that one of the objectives for some of the trained Hamas fighters/soldiers/terrorists (whatever you want to call them) was the capture and return of hostages. They were planning on using those hostages, and obviously wanted as many living hostages as possible.
  15. Honestly, all of this sounds like great DMing to me. It requires a group that is familiar with your style, to be sure, but adds soooo much to the shared story/illusion/fantasy.
  16. Also, Scot, I say this in the nicest way possible...eat an edible. I'm about to. Cheers.
  17. Isn't it ironic that hating something which is undeniably unhealthy is making you unhealthy in the process? Letting it go would definitely be wiser, healthier, and more productive. It's dying out , anyway. Let it go now and you might live long enough to see smoking become a relic in the western world.
  18. I guess I'm confused when you say this, and then say that the Israeli government is doing everything they can to rescue the hostages.
  19. Do you think this Israeli government is doing everything they can be doing to ensure as many hostages be returned as possible at this point?
  20. Right...so setting that aside, do you have an actual reply to the point being made here? Here's another article on the protest/march. https://apnews.com/article/israel-hamas-hostages-families-protest-war-netanyahu-9846d568b3021582b5c588e28850cbea
  21. I'm sorry, are you suggesting such a protest did not occur because AJ ran a story about it? That's so incredibly lazy... Here's a different link, then. https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/israeli-hostage-families-near-jerusalem-march-solidarity-protest-2023-11-17/
