Well, I thought I'd posted this, but here's the my post draft from some amount of days ago: Given the modifications to the IR slot to not apply to players who were drafted while on IR my prior complaints don't really apply anymore, so I'll vote yes to adding an IR slot.

Apples and oranges. One affects one game of the season another affects, potentially depending on contracts, multiple seasons. Like I'm fine with an IR slot but changes to roster composition should in my mind be done before a draft not after.

I agree that it should take effect next season. Decisions would be different during the draft and during contract drops of an IR slot was in place. Edit: I'm also pro-IR slot

I think a penalty for the contract minus 1 the year for the suspension, so if a player on a 2 year gets suspended then you still have a 1 year penalty, but not the 2 years that would normally be for the contract. However, that might also be a PITA to keep track of.

I am okay with that. Draft dates: Today would be the best day overall, but 9/4 or 9/5 would also work splendidly. If not those days my only request would be drafting on a day other than 8/30 because simultaneous auctions might be a bit hard to manage.
