That sounds fantastic, but it doesn't make a jot of sense."Since no Lannister........." sounds like a rule that a pair of three year olds would make up in the playground. There is no such rule.

That aside I think Shadrich's role is being underplayed, since he could well be Howland Reed.

Here is one thread.I like the theory for the most part. Not so sure about Byron and Morgarth.

Sansa's endgame has been confirmed since the death of lady. Since no Lannister laid a hand on lady, naturally no Lannister will ever lay a hand on Sansa. Since Lady has been buried in the lichyard at Winterfell, it's a given that Sansa will end up being buried in Winterfell. No matter where she is there will always be a part of her that is tied to the North. Sansa Stark has literally become Lady of Winterfell.

Which prominent character of ASOIAF had black horse, and also fits into description of the Third Horseman of the Apocalypse?

The first one, on white or silver horse fits with Dany's description. Second on red horse was Drogo (War/Conquest). The rider on pale horse, the fourth one (Death/pale mare), is obvious. Though, who was the third one?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_Horsemen_of_the_Apocalypse

"The Lamb of God opens the first four of the seven seals, which summons four beings that ride out on white, red, black, and pale horses.

The prophecy describes a period of time when a quarter of the population of the earth would be killed by a combination of wars, famine and disease. The prophecy describes the causes as 1) a conquering people whose weapon was the bow "I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest." 2) a people engaged in constant war "Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword." 3) high food prices leading to famine "before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a day’s wages, and three quarts of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!" and 4) disease " I looked and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him."."

The Hound had black horse I think, called Stranger.Indeed it's stabled on the Quiet Isle.

  4. Stannis' arrival in the next episode will be as effective as having Mountain vs Viper in the same episode as LS Reveal or having Jaime's Bath scene in the same episode as Red wedding. Stannis' arrival will totally lose importance. No one can beat LS reveal not even Tyrion's crossbow massacre.

Next episode will also have more memorable moments. (In terms of importance rating)

    1) LS Reveal.

    2) Tyrion's crossbow massacre.

    3) Dany's chaining.

    4) Stannis' arrival.

In this episode it would have been far more effective.

Look above for why i think this was stupid and a shite move from D&D. It completely removes the effect of his most glorious moment upto date.

If it's handled well on screen it will be glorious.Give it a chance.

  5. explain why and how please

Like in the books Stannis didn't arrive until several days into the "assault" on the Wall. After the "cannibal savages" Wildling portrayal of this season,we need time to see that this is not by any means entirely the case.I hope to see Mance saying "my people have bled enough" before Stannis attacks. This would add nuance more in keeping with the books whilst giving Stanfans their cheer moment.

And in case anyone thinks I favour Mance over Stannis,I think they are actually working in concert in the latter half of ADWD whether knowingly or not.But the show needs to start redacting this all Wildlings are evil stuff otherwise Jon's ongoing role will be impossible.

  6. Who gives a fuck about Jon Snow we all watched this episode for Stannis.

Speak for everyone why don't you?Glad you were all trolled coz the level of Stanfan shite had become nauseating.Stop watching the show and throw all your toys out of the pram.

Oh,and ignore the possibility that that Stan's arrival may be even more effective in the final episode.

  7. But he did not put it back to the boat.

Will you kindly stop chatting shit.He smashed one stone of the necklace and threw the rest of it into the boat with Dontos.

Why do you make these unequivocal comments when it's obvious you either haven't seen the recent episodes or your memory has more holes than a Swiss cheese?

  8. I liked the episode, gotta say like everyone the ending was way better, Karl was a good little villain for a while, liked him because I'm a fan of Burn Gorman so I'm sad to see him go, Karl Tanner.....not so much, probably was killed in the best way possible.....ya know because he was a "Fookin Legend" i'll give it an 8. Also weird that Daenerys JUST got word of Joffrey's death, since it happened like 3 episodes ago.....guess word travels VERY slowly

Yep-like how long does it take to send a text to like Mereen or wherever? So totes fifteenth century.

  9. Gave it a solid 8.Enough good scenes to out weigh the not so good ones. The production values remain outstanding.

On the Cersei/Jaime scene,I think Cersei was protesting about where they were "doing it" more than anything else,-repeating "Its not right".Much as I love the books,I didn't like this scene there either.

No one's complaining about Cersei requiring Jaime to kill Tyrion, I note.

  10. The argument continues because Ros was a scapegoat. Fans were able to look at her and blame her for HBO's desire to fill every episode with sex and nudity. She was entirely original to the show and took up more screen time than major characters. It was believed that her death meant less forced nudity, but instead it meant the nudity would be more widespread across different characters' stories.

People have the right to voice their complaints. Not every show needs nudity. Boardwalk Empire (a great HBO series) had incredibly little nudity in comparison, and when it did it was mostly part of character development. People should not stop complaining. It's called critiquing and some people even get paid to do it! The show is made for us fans, so our opinions of the show do matter. After critics and fans alike were highly critical of last season's diversions (mainly Quarth), we have seen the show treat Dany's story with care, making it incredibly true to the novels. And I think most would agree her storyline has been one of the strongest this season.

Never tell fans to stop voicing their opinions, because the show is made for us.

    Qarth.
