  1. I'm sure Vicatorian noticed Selmy walking around the Pyke and Stannis destroyed his fleet and Robert crushed the ironborn rebellion.
  2. Interesting conversation about the show not having Tyrion kill Shae....I think that would be a huge mistake on D & D part to change that part of the plot. They are already setting up the plot about her being jealous of Sansa, etc, and while they do present Tyrion in a more positive light than the books. The depth and layer of the characters is the best part of this series. Love can drive people mad and it would be much more powerful to show Shae turning on Tyrion and him in turn strangling her to death before killing his father then do a cop out version where Tywin hangs Shae which ultimately drives Tyrion to kill his father. I can understand why they changed the Talisa plot for the show because more emphasis was placed on Robb in the show. I've always thought it was ridiculous in the books that he would marry a Westerling girl and that he signed his death warrant by doing so. Meeting a random foreign girl however and falling in love is much more reasonable and believable. You can be blinded by love of that nature, but everyone of your advisers and banner-man would leave your side the minute you married the daughter of the enemy.
  3. The only thing I am disappointed in I have to wait 12 months to see Tyrion strangle Shae the notFunny whore
  4. Really don't get why anyone thought UnCat should be introduced a week after she was killed. That would've been completely lame and would've taken half the episode to set up. It will definitely be a cliff hanger ending for a season 4 episode and the next episode can explain how the brotherhood does it. The whole UnCat thing is one of the more lame things GM did anyway. All she does is hiss and her character is completely pointless unless she actually kills Jamie. I also don't get why everyone is crying about Stannis? He's a dick in the books he's a dick in the show. The actor portrays him very well. You really don't start to like Stannis until he tries to rally the north in ADWD and I think his character really takes off in book 6 as he brings the hammer down on the Boltons and Ramsey's punk ass.
  5. Anyone more fired up than ever to see Stannis Give a few Boltons the red smile in The Winds of Winter or What.
  6. Poor Arya...I kind of wish they would have showed Grey Wind not wanting to enter the Twins, but other than that bad ass episode. All the non book readers around me were like their better be some action this episode, and I just sat there ohhh man.
  7. ...Well after his true father gave him away, disowned him when he came back, and then left him for dead at Winterfell. I'll take the man who raised me even if he had to be cold out of necessity over the former any day. Ned Stark was really the only father he did have.
  8. Episode 9 is named "Rains of Castamere" I'd put my life savings down the Red Wedding happens in episode 9
  9. I don't get why a lot of people were freaking out over the Stannis scene either. I thought it showed him at rock bottom, and in the 3rd book Stannis disappears through the middle and ends up North of the Wall at the end, which was totally from left field but still awesome. The TV series just bluntly shows that he is a little P Whipped from Melisandre, which makes sense because shes by his side 24/7 telling him how great he is going to be and then leaves him at rock bottom. It also makes sens because we know their relationship is also a physical one...a man has needs and would not like his women going off to god knows where. I think her leaving is a must so Stannis stops sulking gets off his @#$ and starts planning his invasion.
  10. HAHA I just never pictured Ramsey looking like that, but an awesome twist I agree. It shows how much of a sociopath he truly is.
  11. Who the hell saved Theon....that wasn't in the books, or have I just forgotten?
  12. Not sure why everyone didn't like the Catelynn scene regarding Jon. I thought it was well done. It showed regret for the way she treated Jon all those years. If she would of been a smart woman, and "done what she was told" as Joffery so eloquently put Ned might have lived. Instead she arrested Tyrion and started the war of the 5 kings.
  13. I've liked everything about Season 3 so far, but I can't wait for
  14. Episode was boring...I hate Catelyn Stark, she starts this whole war capturing Tyrion which gets her husband killed, and then betrays her son which assists in getting him killed. Anyone know why they don't just call Theon's Sister Asha? Doesn't really make a difference just odd. Really wished they would have at least shown Dany at the HOTU and accomplished something this episode besides pure set up.
  15. Talissa = Jeyne this makes so much sense how'd I miss that. Anyways this is a way better set up than in the books. Glad Ramsey will make an appearance and piss off everyone who hasnt read the books. Dreaming of Jon Snow putting a sword through his head.
