  1. Robert made many mistakes and was an alcoholic. That being said he was never conned by a pirate into making him a fleet and have a possibly headless zombie monster join the kingsguard. Two of the dumbest political moves ever made in the series, lol
  2. The whole scene feels like, having a character do something stupid, while having the character thinking they are doing something smart.
  3. Arys Oakheart seemed like a decent guy. I mean he did technically beat Sansa, but even she admits he hated doing it and even stood up to Joff about it at one point. I think Sansa also mentions he did it lightly, unlike the others. I honestly think he only did it, because he was scared Joff would kill him, if he didn't.
  4. I mean it's true. Growing up with a father and sister who hate you and constantly blame you for the death of their wife/mother, that can cause some real emotional damage to someone. There's also the whole, being born a dwarf thing, in a society where being a dwarf is looked down upon.
  5. Probably not, since her final words were "promise me Ned". To me this seems like a woman who's more concerned with the well being of her child, in her final moments of life, which doesn't seem like something a person who was just about to kill themself would say.
  6. I find Tyrion ridding the pig to be the lowest point in the series. That aside, Tyrion and Jorah out of the blue trying to help Penny never made sense to me; she literally tried to murder Tyrion in the last chapter she was in.
  7. Penny is my least favorite character in the series and easily the worst part of Tyrion’s arc.
  8. I agree, he's possibly the worst human in GRRM's universe. He's also not an idiot like Joff, because Tywin knows when he can get away with a genocide and when he can't.
  9. Is this another "Jon Snow is evil thread" or is this a parody?
  10. I think it would be better if it was revealed that Tyrion was Twyin's only legit child. Just as one final middle finger, to the bastard.
  11. When you put it like that, Tywin's actions sort of remind me of Balon's during the main series. You have a guy, who's fighting another kings enemies, before officially joining him, on the grounds that he hopes to be rewarded for it, even though he hasn't officially joined that king.
  12. Is it just me, or does something seem a bit off about the dialogue in Ahsoka. I feel like everyone agrees on too many things, preventing conflict and there also seems to be long pauses in between lines.
  13. The problem then becomes, how do you keep Tywin in line? The guy is rich powerful and prideful. Maybe give him a small counsel position?
  14. I mean if we're getting technical. Star Trek 4, didn't have space whales. It had a giant space sausage, that spoke the same langue of whales.
  15. What series are you talking about? Literally the only other series I know that has space whales is Gundam Seed, lol
  16. I mean, those are thousands of tax paying citizens that Tywin killed, lol
  17. My friend laughed, when I told him the villains plans, were to rescue Thrawn from space whales.
  18. I don't know, Tywin only joining Robert when his victory was certain, makes his loyalty and motives suspect. Not to mention the insane level of collateral damange he caused when he took KL.
  19. I get the feeling Renly would be more Cersei's type.............for obvious reasons.
  20. Mace Tyrell feels like he has no end of cousins, plus two sisters. I have no idea if they were married at the time.
  21. He'd probably marry her to Faegon for a start, though finding a safe place to train the dragons would be a first priority for him. I imagine he'd wait until Dany and Faegon each bond with a dragon, before making a move on the Iron Throne. With two fully grown dragons, who can be controlled, victory would be all, but certain for the Targ cause. I have no idea what they'd do with the third dragon though.
  22. Robert should have sent Lurch and Gregor to The Wall; possibly Jamie too, but I can see Robert and Jon A, not wanting to do that, since it would anger Tywin. If Jamie explained Aerys plan to destroy the city, I can see grounds to pardon him. Maybe dismissing him from the Kingsguard, as a way to please Tywin. Robert marrying Cersei directly is a mistake, since Tywin came to his cause late. Maybe allow Stannis or Renly to marry her though, as a way to unite the families. Robert should have married a member of House Tyrell or Martell, to turn a former enemy into a friend and uniting a second powerful house to his cause.
