I've done a lot of traveling in my day, living on both coasts and all points in between. I also spent some time living as a layman in a Buddhist monastery, though my love of vice has temporarily distracted me from my search for enlightenment. So it goes.

Also, having read tedious amounts of literature to attain a degree in the subject, I think Jaime Lannister is one of the top 50 greatest characters ever written.

Like most people here, I'm creating my own fantasy world. I've done writing for a few small publications, mostly on Buddhism, and wrote for Sounds of Dissent, a radio show in Boston, but find that writing fantasy is incredibly difficult, particularly when being careful not to echo the great GRRM.
