What is with the casting of Edmure Tully? He's supposed to be handsome and dashing...a womanizer. This ugly old man on my screen is NOT and could never be a womanizer. For a show that usually does a great job with finding characters I'm a little disappointed. Sure he can act stupid and useless but the Edmure in the books at least looked good while doing so (at least in my mind).

Judging this show is just too hard at this point what with all the changes and the added unnecessary scenes.That scene between Cat and the fake wife of Robb was a complete joke. Still if I had to choose I'd get it a 5

But the books have stated and even Dany herself has said that only a dragon will only accept 1 rider.... Now will the other 2 dragons still love Dany as their mother? Sure they will. But I do think at some point that another character will claim a dragon for his or herself. Personally I'd love for Jon Snow to ride one of them but I do think his bond with Ghost lessens the chance of that happening. 2nd there's the matter of bloodline. Do you have to be a Targaryen to ride a dragon? Is that a certainty in the world that GRRM has created?And if so could he possibly change that? Who knows at this point....

I gave this episode a 7. The reason being how they introduced Barristan Selmy. Very weak. Also they've completely ruined the Littlefinger/Sansa storyline for me. I mean its just too much. All of sudden Sansa is now in on the plot to rescue her from Kings Landing and she knows it is Littlefinger who is helping her? Just ridiculous. That being said this one episode of Dany was so good that it almost made me forget how utterly stupid her storyline played out onscreen last season. Joffery and Margery was also a great plot. The scene between Ros and Shae although unnecessary was very well written and had so much subtext to it. In a way you could see how Ros was nostalgic for the simpler times back at Winterfell when Sansa was just born.

Where can I find these notes by Azador? There's over 20 pages in this thread....how far back do i need to look? And I'm most interested in Selmy's chapters by far. So if it adds any detail to the opening post (which wasn't too detailed) I'll be very satisfied....

Would Ser Barristan Selmy really ride Dany's silver mare though? That's the one part i find suspect. But glad to hear any news of TWOW! The Arianne chapter on GRRM's site is really great IMO. But only cuz I love the Dornish storyline and the Dornish characters.... EDIT: Okay I read where it says he rides Danys horse to provide moral support for the troops. Awesome!!!! God I love Ser Barristan! The true defintion of a knight. I pay night and day that he survives this next book.

Can someone explain why Brienne saying "sword" saved her life? I know it was crucial and all but I was kinda speed reading A Feast for Crows (due to some school stuff) and I didn't quite catch why it was so important or its significance to Lady Stoneheart.... I just want Cat to kill all the Freys by the end of this series. Every single one. And Lord Walder Frey to be the last.

He's dead I believe. I don't know if I believe Podrick is alive. I'm pretty sure he was hanging by the end of Brienne's last chapter in A Feast for Crows..... I've never seen the appeal of Pod. Seems like another idiot. I can do without him.

The worst episode of the season so far. Horrible writing plus significant changes from the books with little action made it a chore to get thru. Tyrion is being made to look weak and pathetic. Catelyn looks dumb (I didn't see her as this dumb in the novels). The only good scene was Theon and Asha and Maester Luwin and Osha at the end.....

Are you the police and are you going to hunt me down? And if you think I'm the only one then I've got a wonderful get rich scheme that you should REALLY invest it..... The show is horrible and I really don't care at this point. It no skin of my nose if I watch it on my break at work the next day and I'm free to comment on the quality (or lack thereof) of the episode.... I've never once hurled an insult at the actors/actresses except where I think they got the casting one. For example the lady playing Asha is horrible IMO but its just one actor of many and considering how many characters are in the books I'm willing to overlook that.

I gave it a 1. I'm done with the show. Until it returns to the greatness of season 1 and sticks to the books again I'm giving every episode a 1 or 2....

Actually I DID watch the show and listen to the dialogue. I'm not impressed. Her scenes did nothing for me and have done nothing all season long except reinforce how stupid the character is.

The show lost me the moment they tried to make THE WHORE relevant....and I mean Shae. I'm cool with Ros. I'm hope she and Theon get together in the books but whatevs. Back to The Imp's Whore....I'm so disgusted and just thrown off by what HBO is doing with Shae. Shes nothing more than a minor character and yet the show keeps insisting on pushing her face on my screen and making it seem like she's gonna play some crucial role. Uhhhh NO we all know what Shae will do in the end and what happens to her as a result. Shes just a whore. Whores should be silent and out of the way unless called up to perform. This show had some great 1 on 1 moments....its just so sad that ALL of them made no fucking sense in terms of the characters and the emotions they displayed as well as their actions. Save for Sansa and the Queen I would have given the episode a 1.

God I wish I had HBO...won't be able to watch till tomorrow morning most likely....
