Stannis Eats No Peaches

It’s entirely possible! My memory of drunk posting is a little hazy... And thanks for the welcome!

I’ve never posted in TTNE before (I don’t think so anyway, possibly while drunk), but the thread title caught my eye (4 months late, I know) and so I read a few posts for context. Just chiming in to say that I’d be very sad to see TTNE disappear. As I said, I’ve never participated, but I was quite active in Forum Games 6 or 7 years ago, and TTNE just seemed like a permanent part of the background. The idea that it could be mortal after all is a little upsetting. I don’t have the energy to post here regularly, and I’m not really chatty enough for it anyway, but this is my drop in the bucket to keep it going. It’s a very cosy corner of the internet, and it’s nice to see people just being nice to each other. I hope you’re all hanging in there.

Hey guys. I have this theory. I mean, it's a little out there, but hear me out. You know the boy whose family was killed by the wildlings so he took the black and is now Jon's steward, Olly? Well I'm getting this vibe that he's going to be one to stab Jon. It was difficult piece together but fortunately I am skilled in deciphering the clever patterns left in by the showrunners and I think all the signs are there. What do you think?

Best episode of the season so far. I enjoyed Tyrion meeting Dany and Cersei getting arrested was great to see. Also very pleased that Bronn isn't going to die from poison. Didn't really like Stannis groping again, but I also liked him throwing Mel out. If he ends up burning Shireen, I am going to flip a table.

Well that was harrowing. :( I liked the room with the faces though. That was the best part of the episode.

Olly's totally going to stab Jon. I said "fewer" a second before Stannis haha.

7/10 Meh it was solid I guess. Sansa'a scenes were good, Myranda's jealousy seems pointless and just an excuse to fill the boob quota. Tyrion and Jorah were good and I liked Jorah getting greyscale. Jon's scenes were good.

Certainly stronger than the last two episodes, which were just average. Gave it an 8.

Gave it an 8. Better than last season's finale and I don't even remember season 2's, so that can't have been spectacular.

8 It was missing something (besides Stannis). The ending was anticlimactic and...meh.

Damn. Glad they're not giving up. As for moving here, they had to stop using TWC because it uses ads for revenue, which is exactly what this site does so I think they'll just run into the same problems. :dunno:

9/10 The first Arya/Hound scene sucked, mostly because of Rorge and Biter, but the second one was great IMO. The Mountain scene was odd and cartoonish and the Dragonstone scene was also odd and seemed like an excuse to show some boobs. Jon was meh. I loved Hot Pie, Aiden Gillen was great as Littlefinger and every Tyrion scene was fucking amazing. ETA: That guy is over the top, but this pic is fucking priceless. :lmao:
