What a pleasant surprise this was. Was cautiously optimistic after seeing the trailers but it actually exceeded my expectations.

Spaeny was good in Devs, a show which I enjoyed but seemed to be kinda divisive iirc. She was also apparently in Mare of Easttown but I don’t recall her role. Gonna see Civil War this week.

Man, I found myself rooting for the Knicks tonight watching the game. Don’t think I’ve ever done that in my entire life. Basically because of how fun Brunson is to watch. He’s just so unstoppable right now.

A straight up shot for shot remake only without any subtlety apparently. The trailer shows basically the entire movie too, spoilers and all.

Looks good. And a wild cast.

Yeah, really not too worried about Hurley taking it when they come knocking, unless it’s a crazy amount. He’ll likely get a nice raise from all this though. Next year’s Arkansas at Kentucky game already being hyped.

Basically. Uconn is 11-0 against the spread in the last 2 years of the tourney. Vegas hates them, as does Stink, which is good for them.

I went and saw Late Night with the Devil yesterday. It was solid and fun but I was kind of expecting more, especially with all of the rave reviews it’s getting. I wish there was more horror madness or something. Dastmalchian did really nail the corny 70’s talk show host bit and glad to see him in a lead role.

Yeah, I feel like not settling for 3 and taking it in is what spurned the 30-0 run. Karaban especially. In both games where they struggled from 3(NW, Illinois) they shot a combined 72% from 2. The offense is such a unit, it’s so fun to watch. Constant motion from everyone. But shooting at least their season average from 3 would be nice in the final four.

Uconn was +29 with Clingan on the court, and they held Illinois (Kenpom #2 offense at the time) to 0.44 points per possession while Cling was out there. For comparison sake Pacific had the worst offensive game of the year in a 77-28 loss to St. Mary’s and avg’d 0.46 points per possession. So what I’m trying to say is Uconn luckily caught yet another team when they were slumping.

Pretty surprising. I would’ve been ok with a split. Bullpen has been lights out too.

My only fear now is @The Big Stink picking Uconn to win.
