I've pretty much given up on finding the matching ASOS. If they haven't showed up to this forum yet, they probably won't ever.

That's too high, I bought a numbered one for $800 just 2 years ago.

I don't think anyone forced you to buy it lol. I know you guys are pissed off but on the other side there are people like me who are happy that they could get a complete set because honestly I've tried to look for the MM numbered editions of my set for more than 2 years now without success.

Why do you feel the need to buy the Subpress editions of the first 2 books? It's not like you are losing the rights if you don't.

I am happy they are re-printing AGOT and ACOK since I cannot find the Merlin editions of the number I have. I will now have the possibility to have a full set. If you prefer the MM editions, it's not like you're losing the rights to the rest of the series if you don't buy them.
