:agree: I think they should do the same thing that the Wire did giving a quote from each episode in the title sequence of the episode that way we kinda get the best of both worlds

I still like the idea someone came up with don't remember who Have George as some nameless mayster fussing over some book he has to finish in the pilot, then if the series gets picked up have jofery showing sansa his head on a pike saying "And this one wrote bad things about me"

yes he is actively pursuing it *here is how i know* he isn't reading the books and probably wont (says he doesn't read fantasy any more)
