I don't think that guy is anyone important. They just closed in on him as an example of the badass group she recruited for the mission. Plus, Victarian would not be part of Yara's crew, he would be the captain of his own ship.

The Kingsmoot doesn't occur until book 4...they are not going to cut Theon's uncles or the Martell family because these characters all play huge roles in the remaining books.

Jojen and Meera Reed will be in the next season, although I'm not sure whether they will end up separating Bran and Rickon. The one issue is that the showrunners have established Osha's character pretty well so they may not want to see her gone for a long while.

I don't remember anything about the Others only coming out when it's dark. What they do mention is that they only seemt to come out when its super cold, but whether the cold brings them or vice versa is not known.

I completely agree. It seems that Vargo Hoat, who cuts off Jaime's hand in ASOS, is one of those extra characters that HBO doesn't really have room for. As a result, I wouldn't be surprised if Catelyn is the one who cuts off Jaime's hand and then after hearing of Bran and Rickon's deaths, sets him free under Brienne's watch. I would love to see Vargo Hoat in the TV series though.
