I loved it. I keep telling my husband I'm in the perfect place. I read the books like 8 or 9 years ago, so although I remember some of the general things that happen, watching the TV show is still a 'world of wonder' to me. I'm far enough removed from the books that I'm not drawing any comparisons, or being bummed that something specific isn't included in the show. I thought they did a great job of bringing tieing up the storylines, and left us with a great cliffhanger with the Others. Already counting down to Season 3, can't wait!!

I have to rate it a 10, I've already re-watched it twice! Totally lived up to expectations, and the dialogue was absolutely brilliant. We had to rewind/rewatch the 'tell the hound to tell the hand' several times right away, we were laughing so hard!

Hello, phedre here, checking in from Alexandria, Virginia! I read the first three books years ago, but stopped when I realized the series was turning into another Wheel of Time scenario. Figured I'd just wait until it was all finished and then read again from the beginning ... But then, lo and behold, the TV show came out!!! Now I think I'm developing a bit of an obsession :cool4: Haven't been this crazy about a TV show since Firefly, and haven't joined a fan-forum community since the Serenity boards died out. So here I am :cheers: Now if I can just figure out how to change my picture . . .
