  1. But that is the very nature of the Tu Quoque fallacy. It is distraction from the ongoing discussion with the implication of hypocrisy claiming that such hypocrisy invalidates the argument of someone pointing a bad thing because they aren’t also pointing out all the other bad things.
  2. If the condemnation of Hamas is just why mention other events at all?
  3. You are implying that if everything isn’t also condemned then there is something improper about the condemnation of Hamas. That is the Tu Quoque fallacy. Condemning Hamas is proper whether or not the Russian genocide against the Circassians is also condemned. The two are both bad and unrelated to each other.
  4. The Tu Quoque fallacy isn’t a valid argument. There will always be hypocrisy in what draws people’s attention. That doesn’t make what people are paying attention to invalid or unworthy of concern. There has been a fair bit of discussion of Boko Haram, the Uighur, and other terrible things that happen. At the end of the day who remembers the Russian genocide against the Cirrcasians? Acting and speaking out about an issue of note is not invalid because you haven’t done the same for every such issue that has ever happened in history.
  5. And… therefore… Chinese imperialism is a good thing… why?
  6. Is she claiming, with a straight face, that there is a context that justifies or successfully offers apologia for… rape?
  7. Are you going to claim… with a straight face… that Russia… is an “anti-imperial” power?
  8. Do we know if our Israeli boarders are okay?
  9. And that look like industrial sights inside…
  10. So… flail? We’re in the worst timeline.
  11. They want Israel to attempt to Crush them… and the Israeli Government is likely to oblige… with bells on…
  12. Are you suggesting this attack is an Israeli false flag?
  13. Nope… not even that. They are invested in him… not in any party…
  14. Wow… what does Hamas think that will accomplish?
  15. I hear you and I appreciate what you are saying. This is awful on so many levels and the brutality of Hamas doesn’t justify or excuse Israel’s earlier actions. In my earnest opinion. Nor do earlier Israeli actions justify or excuse Hamas’ brutality.
  16. Has Hamas said anything about the slaughter at the music festival? What possible non-bullshit justification could be offered?
  17. They don’t care about his lies. They don’t care about his graft. They don’t care about anything but defending their cult leader. He is telling blatent and easily refuted crap at this point (you can kill babies after birth) and they still buy into his horseshit. I’m not sure there is anything he can say or do that will pull away his die hards.
  18. I agree with you… on this point. Is such a plan possible given Israel’s current political make up?
  19. It seems, to me, difficult to create a genuine nation State that is broken into hundreds of exclaves by Israeli settlements that Israel will not surrender to Palestinian sovereignty.
  20. With Israel building Settlements all over the West Bank how is that possible?
