  1. Arya's end if foreshadowed in the books as something to do with the Others/winter/cold. I'm not sure she'll actually survive whatever she actually does in the book version of this shit, but I'm not gonna deny I'm happy she's still alive.
  2. Dunno if anyone's said this, but next ep they should name Arya Protector of the Realm. Don't think it has a chance of happening in the books, but it's all fan service now, right? Honestly, surprised how many apparently survived. Guess they're holding off for something.
  3. He is? I honestly wouldn't know, but I have a hard time believing that regarding in-ring work. I mean, it's not like he was ever that great out there.
  4. Goldust just turned 50. I don't think him fighting his baby brother again is what WWE is missing.
  5. Sounds like Bryan may be done (again). Hard not to assume he has another head injury now that they're canceling dates for him. Oh well, at least he got a pretty good swan song - don't go to AEW and risk it man!
  6. I don't think you can really say Sanity ever started on the main roster. Which is a shame. That raises something I actually was thinking in the shower a couple hours ago - whatever happened to mid-card stables? They weren't just an attitude era thing, that shit was around for the first twenty years of Vince's takeover. Considering all the talent they have, this should be a no-brainer. Put some tag teams together with some mid-carders and let them feud. One of the most entertaining angles I've ever enjoyed was DX vs. NOD.
  7. I'm just glad AJ Styles is clearly not injured. And I think moving him to Raw is a good move. Wonder who will go to Smackdown tonight. Zayn is the easy pick. I also think Lashley could use a change of scenery. So could Balor, but I don't think they're gonna take that much top-end talent from Raw. My sleeper pick is Roode. He could have a solid mid-card run on Smackdown.
  8. They shoulda made nap rooms available to all the kids that were attending an event that lasted until 12:25 AM.
  9. Their entirely different shows, targeting entirely different markets. I'm not excusing the shittyness of the main shows - and I still don't get why WM has to be, like, 7 hours long - but it's silly to judge them on the same standard. Anyway, yeah, happy for Kofi!
  10. Loved Cesaro spinning Ricochet for, like, 2 hours.
  11. So..that's gotta be confirmation Lesner is fighting what's his face for UFC.
  12. Agree with most of these, at least that I care about and haven't already happened. I think they might take the belts off of Banks and Bailey, seems time for them to feud. No opinion on either Tag title match(es). And I think Angle will win. Vince can't be that big of a dick.
  13. Well yeah, that's my point. He's going to meet the Vince resistance, which is a significant obstacle. Not everyone can overcome that and even those that do, it takes a certain amount of luck - even for 12 year veterans like Kofi.
  14. Agree about Riddle. It's going to be very difficult for Gargano to gain traction on the main roster as long as Vince is alive, just like it was for Bryan. He's perhaps the epitome of the vanilla midget unfairness.
  15. I haven't seen it (canceled my subscription a while ago), but from what I read that seems pretty low for Dream/Riddle. I think Dream has a lot of "WWE" potential. As in, compared to your average NXT guy, he could really excel at Vince's "sports entertainment."
  16. It would appear you have a turnout crisis compared to last time. My quick count is, what, 62 this time? That's less than 20% of the previous turnout. Thanks Obama.
  17. So seems to me Vince being the guy that makes the Woman's match a three-way is designed to set up a match between Triple H and someone. And someone is likely to be Batista. Not sure I get that. Is Triple H supposed to be the face while Batista is Vince's henchman. If not, how? And does anyone want to watch these old men fight in the first place?
  18. Certainly could be. My news sources on the subject entirely entail this thread.
  19. I think AJ just needs to move into semi-retirement mode along with Bryan.
  20. It also was a different era in which the onus was much more on the talent to push and market themselves. I agree Ambrose could use a change of scenery. Hopefully he leaves on good terms and can return if it's mutually beneficial in a couple years.
  21. Can't. Had no idea how the card was gonna be stacked but started watching around 9 cuz I just wanted to watch the last two hours. Ended up watching 3, which back in long long ago was an entire show. I don't get why they think these 6 hour shows help them in any way. The crowd is always dead halfway through of what are supposed to be the biggest showcases of the year.
  22. I didn't start watching til a little after the Woman's Rumble started. And yeah, it was not entertaining. Turned off the sound and paid attention to another screen. Styles/Bryan was very disappointing too. Never got into it, and a really random ending. Actually liked Balor/Lesner, was much better than than the previous match in 15 less minutes. The Rumble was fine. Very average, but fine. Think the right guy won, by everything I've read the past year Rollins has been the MVP of the main roster. Now hopefully he can beat Lesner. Someone has to, right?
