  1. Actually it is Yohn Royce. Official HBO Site
  2. I can't believe I've never made that connection. I accepted who Jon really was years ago too, it just never dawned on me.
  3. It was Lord Royce. Don't forget that his son was a member of the Nights Watch and died North of the Wall in the Pilot. He's probably not a big fan of Wildlings.
  4. I actually don't believe there have been any official announcements regarding future seasons. I remember someone associated with the show, I'm not sure if it was D&D or Cogman, saying they thought they had 13 Episodes left. If there's been anything announced beyond that I completely missed it.
  5. My goodness you are tiresome. Typical it's different than the books so it sucks nonsense..
  6. I wouldn't be surprised at all if she lives. It's also possible Doran sent Trystane with an antidote knowing what was possible from the Sand Snakes.
  7. That clock is ticking pretty loudly at this point. I know GRRM says he's buckling down to finish it. Hopefully he can do it.
  8. I've seen them say he's dead in several interviews. I've yet to read anyone say his story is over.
  9. I think the right question is: "Is Jon's story over"?
  10. I consider Myrcella to be a Cliffhanger until we know for certain she's dead. I could see Trystane having the antidote, Doran could have been expecting something like that and sent him prepared. Or perhaps Bronn stole some, thought that seems less likely to me. To unsullied viewers, Arya is blind. We know that doesn't last.
  11. I can't believe some people didn't notice her face was CGI'd onto another body. It was plainly obvious and somewhat distracting to me.
  12. Jon's not dead. If Kit still has his hair he's getting ready to film season 6.
  13. A solid 8 the WoS was very well done aside from Lena's face being CGI'd onto someone else's body. Just looked weird. Sansa & Theon was great, FTW was great and no way is Stannis dead.
  14. No need to explain it. It's a minute detail that normal people don't give a shit about. The trek from Eastwatch to Castle Black wasn't important to the plot, so it was skipped. That's what TV does.
  15. Actually the people with common sense have no problem figuring out what's going on. It's the people that hate the show that need every single detail spelled out for them in excruciating detail.
  16. At some point you just have to walk away. It seems this shows very existence ruins some of these people's lives the way minute details set them off.
  17. But if you hate the show and everything it stands for every single detail not explained to said hater is fuel for the fire. Because striking a flint over an unlit torch soaked in some sort of fuel then throwing it on a tent is apparently the equivalent of parting the Red Sea.
  18. 20 guys lit some tents on fire. It's not that hard to comprehend. Just say what you guys really mean: "GRRM didn't put it in the books so it's fanfic garbage."
  19. So, in a story with ice zombies, dragons and a woman that squirts demon shadow assasins out of her vagina you draw the line at starting a fire when it's cold? To each their own I guess.
  20. Throw some kerosene on some medieval fabric and set a match to it. See what happens. I'm guessing they didn't have the technology to make things fire retardant yet.
  21. All they did was light some fires to destroy food and resources which is completely plausible. It's not like they engaged Stannis entire army and defeated them with 20 men. That's something that would happen in an episode of Vikings.
  22. There are lots of ways it could make sense if we just let it play out. For example if Trystane goes to Kings Landing and assassinates Tommen, his betrothed becomes queen. He then marries her and becomes King through marriage.
  23. They do know more than the average fan. Maybe they knew it was coming. :dunno:
  24. At least Elio remains somewhat objective when he doesn't like something from the show. He's always been very respectful in that regard.
