  2. Hi everyone. I have a Harper Voyager UK set that I'm looking to sell, if anyone's interested. All are in like-new condition, never read, first editions. A Game of Thrones is signed too. I'm asking $1,250 + shipping on eBay but will entertain all offers. Love to see it go to someone on the forum. PM if interested. Thanks!

  4. No, just have these extra two that are on my shelf. I don't really need them as I have a numbered set. Interested? I have them on eBay for $1050. Lowest price anywhere.
  5. Looks like the price of these aren't this high. Lowered to $1500 or best offer. Pictures upon request. I really need to move these so I'm a motivated seller. Thanks!

  8. Second. Plus he's selling below market value. Just doesn't make sense. He's sold a bunch of Sub Press books though, according to feedback...
  9. Hi everyone. I have a numbered SP A Clash of Kings that I'm selling for $850. Going to post on eBay in a few days, but I'd like to sell to someone on here.
  10. Hi guys, I have a Subterranean Press Clash of Kings I want to sell, #314. Asking $899, which is lower than any price on eBay right now. PM me if interested. Thanks!
  11. Hi everyone. I have a new Subterranean Press "A Clash of Kings (#314) that I'm selling. Price is negotiable. PM me if interested.
  12. Has anyone heard anything about the Sub Press "A Game of Thrones" illustrated by Ted Nasmith? We're almost at the three year mark of the announcement, which was in March 2011...
  13. Supply and demand isn't economics? The reason those ACoK's are still on Abe's is because there isn't a demand for them. Of all the editions they're the least popular. On the other side of the coin, the AsoS's are the most popular…maybe with the exception of a MM AGoT, if you can ever find one. Plus we're in the "off-season" right now, book sales seem to spike when the show's on. The ASoS on eBay might seem high, but as long as ASoIAF is part of pop culture they will continue to increase in value. Regarding substantial risk, any type of investment invokes risk. My entire 401k could be wiped out in three months if we fail to raise the debt ceiling. Does this mean I stop contributing to it? Or pull everything form it and cash out? No. It's a risk, but a calculated one.
  14. You're sarcasm aside, buying lone books that pop-up for sale decreases the number of full sets that can be built. A smaller number of competes sets, or potential complete sets, makes my complete set more valuable. It's not cunning, it's economics...
  15. Seems high to me too. A numbered MM AGoT has been selling for around $2000 - $2500 in the past couple months. A lettered edition went for $4600 this last summer. Trying to decode whether or not I want to pick this up, as it will reduce the number of potential complete sets, which in turn will make my set more valuable...
  16. There's a Sub. Press Limited ASoS up on eBay, #30, for $1395 if anyone's interested... Price seem fair?
  17. So if we think $5100 is a decent price for a numbered "set' without the MM AGOT, what would be a decent price for one with it? I agree with Justinian; you can't just add the market value for numbered MM AGOT. A set is greater than the sum of it's parts. So if we assume a fair price for a stand-alone numbered MM AGOT is approximately $2200, we saying a numbered set is worth more than approximatley $7300... Thoughts?
  18. Well, how many fully complete numbered sets are out there, with MM editions. I would guess only 40% of possible numbered sets are complete. So maybe 180? That's a lot to list, true, but of that number how many people are on the fourm? Maybe my numbers and assumptions are off? Thoughts?
  19. Should we keep a list of known sets still in tact? Would people feel comfortable listing that on here?
  20. Episode gets a 6. Small Council scene was the best of the night. I really liked the Roose/Walder post mortum...pardon the pun. They rushed this entire season though. Dany gets her Unsullied in episode four? Really? The Red Wedding, with Cat's throat being slit, should have been the last scene of season. How could it not have been? I refuse to believe people in the writer's room weren't screaming for this, meaning someone had to override them. I'm looking at you David and Dan...
  21. I have #2 ADWD looking to sell. Not sure if this is the right place, but it can't hurt...
  22. A lot of folks can't afford sets, if they can find them. They're huge fans of ASOIAF though and want to own a limited edition. They can't afford $6k but they can afford $500 to $1000 for their favorite volume....and that's one reason why we have so many single books out there.
  23. Should we start a list of sets or individual books people own? We could have a list per letter/number. Might be a nice way to track whether or not sets are staying together...
