  1. Since when is Cersei's claim legitimate? What claim?? And since when does she need the support of the people? She remained all powerful when she blew up their vatican, pope, half the nobility, and the legitimate and loved Queen along with the house that was feeding the people of the city.
  2. Logic is on point to D&D's traditional stupid writing so I'm not going to bother with that. But I like the way they handled Daenerys' story. I always supported the theory that she was going crazy. And it makes sense to end the White Walkers' armies before ending Daenerys because Dragons and their fire must serve a purpose.
  3. If she's invisible, why jump? And where did she learn all that and how to be so skilled with every weapon? And how did she manage to go through a castle full of berserk zombies? And how did she go through the army of zombies and superhuman White Walkers?? And if she knew of the NK's weak point, why did she try to hit him somewhere else the first time?
  4. To be fair, she was never meant to become a leader. But when she did, it was because of her Dragons. And with her Dragons came her elite retinue. With all that going for her, there was no point in training for combat. But then again, she's not much of a leader either. Not a politician or a warrior, just a girl who managed to wake dragons. I know the fans love to hype her up, but even the show doesn't do any job in making her look more than that. She's immature and irrational.
  5. What groups of color? The show wanted to get rid of them in order to fill their own stupid plot. Now Dany appears as the army-less Queen. Also, getting rid of the Dothraki horde helped in saving budget.
  6. To be fair... how has Jaime changed? Just 2 episodes ago, he stated all he did was for his House and that he would do so again. Just like that, they stroke all his character development and it no longer seems like he's redeemed. And killing a pregnant woman in order to complete a prophecy would certainly not fit into either that redemption arc or the show's ways.
  7. I gave it a nine because of some unecessary scenes such as Sam and Gilly. No one can deny the battle at the end wasn't awesome and so full of revelations, not even us book readers and show-critics.
  8. Can you please elaborate on what you think is wrong there? :)
  9. Here But please don't raise your post count by spamming. There's plenty of themes that you may find interesting across the forums. I'm sure 1 or 3 more posts can't be that hard, eh? ;)
  10. This is how you'll upload an image ;)
  11. Hmm strange I pressed on it, and it directs to the List of actors wiki page in which the actor doesn't even have an entry. Are you sure about this? EDIT: Ah spotted and corrected it.
  12. Don't know if it's just a typo from your part but the events of the books are around the 3rd century AL so 199 AL. Yes, that part is incorrect, I've looked for other articles mentioning the same sort of content and it seems that the correct date should be 287 AL. From Bryen Caron's article it says that Brienne was promised to his youngest and second son but two years later in 289 AL, this son and most of Bryen's family, including himself, died of a chill. Seems a more reliable source of info so I've corrected it House Caron's article. Hope that clears it for you. Thanks for reporting that mistake! ;)
  13. 8, Arya totally saved it for me though I understand that it's just a tie in/aftermath of things setting up for next season. Can't wait for the Martells! I'm sad because of Coldhands. Didn't understood the necessity of the Greyjoys scene, shouldn't it have been a funeral? Why cast two important actors this season just for that futile scene? Ygritte was pretty nasty :s
  14. I gave it an 8. They did very well with this episode covering a lot less plots while in the previous episodes it was quite the mix up of a dozen different plots and they also had to force scenes. This episode however, they kept it to only 4-5 plotlines and had enough time to allow scenes to properly develop without being rushed or anything. I do have to say though, I'd have enjoyed more action in the fight against Puddles Shards. I waited for it the entire episode and yet when it happens it's just...Sam attacks Shards, he evades and pushes him away, then Sam comes back and kills Shards. End of story. That scene needed to be more genuine. I'd have liked to see more horror in their faces.
  15. 7 just for the sake of it. Again too much plot development which I wouldn't even find that necessary like Orell's little crush. The Bear pit scene could've been so much better, seemed kind of forced.
  16. About the first that article is certainly terrible, it seems to me that whoever has been making those additions, added the entire chapter where the raven appears. I'll try to help fixing it too. Regarding the second, the thing that strikes a bit confusing about the source, is that though its book wasn't published yet, those chapters have been, so they're certainly considered "published material". But anyway, if Ran says it should go then it must so. ;)
  17. This episode sure did have its loads of deviations but I think they made perfectly sense and loved how they finally started using past references. Plenty of concepts introduced this episode. Related to Theon and Boy, so that castle we see from the outside, it's just another angle of the Dreadfort as it is portrayed in the show, right? Loved the revelations and foreshadowing development. This episode was just too great. I think the only thing I'd like improved would be Ramsay revealing his true name and acts, an even bigger shock on Theon's face would just be too amusing!
  18. This was the first time I rate an episode this season over 7. A well deserved 10, very intensive, enjoyed every second.
  19. A draft for modificiations of an already-existing page might become quite messy...but okay.
  20. I've begin drafting a Layout Guide though two things came up in which I would like your opinion or the community's. I'd like to propose the following changes to the current layout: Replace the name of "History" sections for "Biography" in all character articles as it would be far more suitable; Reduce capitalization in titles. While starting the title or the entire name of the books (basically because that is their name hence it shouldn't be modified) capitalized is fine, titles like for instance "Recent Events" and/or "References and Notes" I think should be decapitalized after the first name therefore it would be "Recent events" and "References and notes".
  21. I feel this episode served to introduce characters and develop the plot to the eventual most important outcomes. I gave it a 7 because of the lack of action.
  22. 7/10, slow episode but not exactly a bad one either.
