I give it a 9 because of the way it made me feel. I felt like Tyrion did in this episode, saddened but not surprised. I also feel like Dany's actions were a long time coming and always bubbling under the surface. The only thing that legit rustled my jimmies, was Jaime/Cersei going out that way. I honestly thought he was gonna murder her for the greater good and then die himself shortly afterwards. However, thinking long about it, Cersei dying afraid and ingloriously is a nice piece of karmic justice. the salt tho, has been hilarious

10/10 would R+L=J again

I suspect a lot of 10s come from Ramsay getting munched. Mine did. Gods that was satisfying as all hell.

I found it hella better than last week's, so i gave it a 7. It wasnt great and im still salty about the Blackfish, but ive never been gladder to see Dany back in Meereen.

A 6. It lost points for needless Septon Meribald murder and Glovers acting so un-Glover, i was literally embarrassed. Also, 62 guys? Cogman, imma get you. Sandor being a thing was cool, but id prefer it if he was a bit more silent. Rory McCaan can do nuance acting, why not give him the chance. Sandor is being really reflective but how it was written wasnt too strong on his character development. But seeing him grin wistfully when chopping wood and thinking "i got a good thing going right now" was sweet. Jaime Goldenhanding a Frey and the Blackfish stuff was GREAT and saved me from being too salty about things. That and Lyanna Mormont. What a little badass. Im down with Asha and Theon going to Meereen and was lowkey rooting for the show to go that route. Hey Arya, how you gonna get out of this mess?

id really love it if Cersei was somehow directly responsible for Tommen getting owned, or the Faith does it. But the fact that the show left the Sand Sneks all hangin' like that really points to them showing up outta nowhere and putting poison in his juice. And then Cersei goes apeshit and tries to nuke KL. Who knows. lmao

hey i got a shot of that. i really missed it completely when first watching the ep cuz it went by so fast. But i looked for it because you lot mentioned it.

Marg is trying to save face yet again and get Loras and herself out of that situation. Shes playing Tommen to get him away from Cersei and its working. And i feel like just when things start looking like they are on an upswing for Tommen, a Sand Snek comes out and murks him. OOpsie. Also, Bran is still trippin' balls from 3EC Merging from last episode. Im hype for Arya murking the Waif. It gonna happen.

Yeah. The Waif is gonna die, though. I dunno about the Kindly Jaqen, but Arya gonna own that Waif, steal some faces, and get the fuck out. I think her motivation for deserting is weird, but it does make some sense. She cant kill indiscriminately. She cant kill people who havent done anything horribly wrong. As such, she cant let go of Arya Stark. Maybe this will segway into Nymeria only eating Freys in the show or something.

oh i gotta get a shoutout to the very beginning where Bran sees King Burn Em All. That shit was bomb.

A 'breather' episode with some decent moments but others dragged on. Horn Hill was nice to see but the segment dragged. Jaime made me eyeroll. The things that made the episode a 7 for me was Benjhands and Arya.

Gosh this is so interesting ! I dont have much to add, to be honest, but i feel like the tall pale woman is either Dany, or some kind of metaphor for something. What this definitely means, is that Euron is a much more major player in whats to come. And hes bad juju. Solemnly swearing he is up to no good. Euron taking the Iron Throne is a scary thought. brrr. Obviously. I doubt hes gonna live after this.

the theatre scene wasnt meant to be funny, to the viewer. Its funny in-universe, but not to us, and not to Arya. That was the point. Its a little shocking how much stuff flies over people's heads.

the Kingsmoot and Euron being really disappointing dragged this episode down a bit. So its a 9. If Kingsmoot was better, it would have been a 10. Hodor and the CotF reveal was really something and i know this is GRRM stuff. (giggling at book fans overly salty because they got spoiled hard tonight.) Hodor made me cry really hard.

I agree. But i gave a 10 because Jon/Sansa reunion brought tears to my eyes and it was just so goddamn nice to see Starks reunite. Sansa feeling bolstered and Pink Letter happening, yeah it was a fucking good time. Even though we lost Osha, i couldnt ask for a better on-screen way of her going out while still being consistent with what is going on in the show right now. We cant have her mutual kill Ramsay because Bastardbowl is coming.

Yeah no Dorne helped loads. I now wish to erase Dorne from the show canon outside of Oberyn. Anything post-Oberyn is just no. Things are too weird to just simply nay-say for the sake of it. Winds of Winter isnt out and wont be for a while. Roose could very well bite it by means of Ramsay (and i expect him to, even before this episode). Jon may not stay dead for very long in the next book. Bran could very well see more and more and leave the cave. Also, im gonna say it here: People using the lexicon of those two goons from tumblr (stuff like Carol and Larry, etc), i am so not going to you seriously. Like ever. No offense, but i just cant.

i gave it a 9 because the stuff that irked me was really freaking minor. (like Bloodraven not missing an eye, and some other aesthetics stuff) Everything else was rather good and it shocked me how good it was tbh. I was expecting it to be really bad, and thats probably why i was so pleased. Go in with low expectations, come out being pleasantly surprised. Also Lyanna hype.

This episode would have actually been pretty great if there had been a cold open and no Dorne. So a 7. Dorne knocked off huge points, but i was generous because the Mel thing was really awesome.

Vikings does it too and its still fine tbh. Ok get the fuck off my lawn right now. Vikings may not have quite the budget as GoT, but it is not bad television or production. You obviously have no idea wtf you are even talking about.

My mum was really in a tizzy and to keep her from actually losing it, i told her im pretty sure hes not dead. And she was like "MELISANDRE CAME BACK! SHES GONNA SAVE HIM BY BRINGING HIM BACK WITH THAT FUNKY SHIT LIKE THAT ONE GUY!" So yeah. But it is scary. Its the feeling i had when i read it. That feeling of "OH FUCK YOU, MARTIN!" I agree with this. I cannot understand anyone taking joy out of subjecting themselves to something they hate so much. I didnt hate-watch despite me being displeased with a lot this season. Im not gonna hate-watch next season. I dont subject myself and waste energy on things that i loathe so much.

:agree: so goddamn much. Its hilarious I think Kit may take a season off and come back with a bang. Really, i think its more of a fake out. If hes doing movies this year, hes likely taking the season off. But the story literally cannot function without Jon existing. So...people thinking hes gone for good is just laughable. Its like ADwD all over again.
