  1. Thanks mate! I do like the idea of Jon being the son of Brandon and Ashara, even though I know this theory tends to be seen as farfetched. It is hard to have a lot of ideas considering we don't have the exact timeline on how things went, but I suspect Brandon had his time with Ashara him being who he is. I truly think D&D didn't give GRRM much importance at the time and just decided, in their arrogant way, to do their own thing. I think it is possible R + L = J is a thing, but not the way they did in the show, with Rhaegar asking the High Septon to annul his marriage to Elia, that made no sense, the marriage had been consumated and produced two children, the High Septon would never annul such union. If Jon is, in fact, Rhaegar's son, the most I can believe is true is that he is a bastard. D&D defaulted to explain that everything they did was because GRRM told them so, but we could see GRRM was not happy with how the show was going, I think they had a rocky work relationship and he just decided to leave when season 4 was over. You can see how the quality of the TV Show decreased once GRRM was gone from the production team.
  2. I think the theory I hate is R + L = J, I never liked it from the start and I am still not sure GRRM will thread that path, especially with all the hype around it.
  3. I am giving it a seven, it was a solid episode, but there were some flaws that were hard to ignore. Like, the 180ยบ change of Ser Criston Cole. I think it was not really clever to make him want to run away with Rhaenyra, it doesn't make any sense. He is a knight of the Kingsguard. She is the heir to the Iron Throne, running away would end up getting him executed. He complains about his honour being stained and he hoped marrying Rhaenyra would wash his honour. Again, he is a sworn knight of the Kingsguard, he mentioned chasitty vows, how does he think breaking those vows even further would restore his honour? I did like the lemongate hint in the background during Larys Strong conversation with Alicent, the metaphore he used was also a nod to lemongate. For those who haven't noticed, there were lemon trees painted in the background during that scene. Also, Ser Joffrey Lonmouth was supposed to die during a tourney, not at the wedding, that fight during the wedding made no sense at all to me. Another mistake was Alicent's green dress, that was not suppose to take place during Rhaenyra's wedding, but at the fifth anniversary feast of her marriage to King Viserys. The scene didn't make much sense, considering Rhaenyra was not even dressed in black. There was another easter egg I liked, the rat and the puddle of blood, I think that was a reference to Cheese and Blood.
  4. The stuff D$D did are backfiring. Even people who haven't read the books are noticing they are destroying the story. They wanted to piss us, book readers, off, so I don't pity for them, they deserve the negativity they are receiving.
