  1. What makes it so funny is that I could definitely see Roose in that sort of situation if it would have happened exactly like that in the books and really not give a shit haha.
  2. Wow that video was great and does make some very good points about her being a spy that I didn't connect before. Btw I laughed so hard at the part about Roose Bolton not giving a shit about what she is lol.
  3. I also think this Talisa reveal will also take the place of the Shae betrayal. I do think Shae will be forced to speak at the trial, but against her wishes. I believe they will set up the Shae storyline to be a sort of tragic misunderstanding. She really cared for Tyrion, but was set up, blackmailed and threatened. When Tyrion finds her, she tries to explain, but Tyrion, in his rage, won't believe her.. then it's all... "hands of cold are always cold... but a woman's hands are warm..." Just out of curiosity what evidence/scenes in the tv series have lead you to suspect she's a spy? I just want to know because i'm starting to suspect the same thing and I wanna see if ppl are getting the same outlook on certain scenes involving her that I am.
  4. I seriously just keep watching that scene over and over, love the mean mug look Blackfish gives gives Karstark right after he socks him. Haha classic Blackfish.
  5. Btw who else thinks Blackfish looked like a fuckin badass when he slugged Karstark for his snarky remark towards Robb? Whether it's on tv or in the books Blackfish remains a total boss!
  6. They've all ready bethrothed Myrcella to Trystane Martell for that purpose. I mean the Martells aren't stupid they've heard/know most if not all of the rumors, Myrcella's surname might be Baratheon, but the Martell's along with everyone else in the realm know she represents the Lannisters in terms of an alliance formed through marriage.
  7. Thoughts on that episode: That episode belonged to Jon Snow and Jamie Lannister. It was great to finally see Jon grow some stones against the wildlings and that kissed by fire scene was on point. Jamie's scene in the bath tub was IMO the most powerful non violent scene of the season so far and for Jamie's character in general so far overall in the series. I mean it really gave me the chills hearing him talk about Aerys and the events that took place during th sack of KL. Robb Stark is fucked Loved the idea of Littlefinger using that squire to seduce and squeeze Tyrell info out of Ser Loras, very clever indeed. Tywin Lannister is a complete fucking Boss! Tyrion and Cersei have shown throughout the series that when on their own they can be powerful, cunning, and overall very intimidating characters. Yet when brought before Tywin Lannister he seems to always make them look like scared, submissive, little children, and I love it! It seems to me the show is really making a huge effort to show the human side of Stannis Baratheon which I don't mind at all btw, I like seeing this different side of Stannis. Un-Beric kind of freaks me out. TV Brienne has a fantastic ass(if she wasn't using a bd of course)! Haha but really she does. Lastly, I noticed that Tywin Lannister called ser Loras the heir of Highgarden so it seems we won't be seeing Willas in the show, and does anyone know if we'll see Edric Dayne? It doesn't seem like we will at this point. Overall great episode!
  8. No he(Littlefinger) doesn't, Littlefinger and Olenna only worked together to poison Joffrey. In the books Olenna originally tried to marry Sansa to her grandson Willas Tyrell in order to give the Tyrells Winterfell, but Littlefinger spoils her plan my telling Tywin before she had the chance to set up the marriage. Olenna doesn't know Littlefinger is the one who spoiled her plans, so actually she was just being played by Littlefinger. In the TV series Olenna had no idea of Littlefinger's intention to shuffle out sansa, until Varys told her, which means Varys and Olenna are actually working against Littlefinger. That's why right after the scene with Olenna talking to Varys about Sansa it switches to the scene where Margaery proposes to Sansa that she marry ser Loras. Which I believe Littlefinger will counter by telling the Lannisters of the Tyrells plan. Littlefinger wants to take Sansa to the Vale with him, but the Tyrells want sansa to marry into their house so they can eventually claim Winterfell. Littlefinger and the Tyrells are pushing two seperate agendas in their plans for Sansa.
  9. I think she might actually be playing Varys and that's how Littlefinger will find out and tell the Lannisters about the Tyrell's plans for Sansa.
  10. Wow that episode was fuckin epic! My three favorite quotes : Theon: "My real father lost his head at Kings Landing...I made a choice, and I chose wrong."- God that almost made me cry lol Tywin : "I don't mistrust you because you're a woman, I mistrust you because you're not as smart as you think you are."- It's about time someone put Cersei in her fucking place while calling her out for her horrible parenting skills. She can bitch about the Tyrells all she wants, but she created that monster Joffrey that the Tyrells are now fucking with by spoiling the living fuck out of him, and letting him do whatever he wanted with no consequences so this is just karma kickin her in the ass. And I know I'm suppose to hate the guy but Tywin is by far my favorite character of season three so far lol oh well. :ohwell: Olenna Tyrell: "Another golden rose, how original? I eat from plates stamped with roses, I sleep in sheets embroidered with roses, I have a golden rose painted on my chamber pot, as if that makes it smell any better, roses are boring dear. Growing strong hah, the dullest words of any house. Winter is coming! Now that's memorable. We do not soe. Strong, strong those houses you watch out for, direwolfs and crackons fierce beasts, but a golden rose growing strong? Hah that strikes fear in the heart. Look little flowers the spider in the garden, run along now, grow strong."- Haha god I absolutely adore this woman!! I could literally just sit in that garden and listen to her talk all day. As for the rest of the episode RIP Commander Mormont. Anyone else notice the Tyrells are planning to marry Sansa to Loras instead of Willas? And btw my god Dany ended that episode like a fuckin badass!!
  11. Did he? I thought all he said about Rhaegar in S1 is that Rhaegar was the last dragon....
  12. I just don't think Ros will end up being the fake Stark she seems to be too old, and ppl forget she's secretely most likely not even working for Littlefinger anymore and is instead a spy for Varys based on the scene they had at the end of season 2. Varys makes it clear to her that he doesn't force his employees into situations that could bring them serious physical absue the way Littlefinger does. So if she his indeed now secretely working for Varys I can't really see Varys being okay with her marrying Ramsay rape, torture, and flay you alive Bolton.
  13. Ya I can only see this theory working if it was Sansa and even then it's a bit of a strech seeing that Ros seems to look a lot older than Sansa. Also does tv Littlefinger know Arya's alive from his trip to Harrenhal in season 2? I seem to vaguely remember him mentioning something about Arya being alive to Sansa in the season three premiere, of course this could just be the same bs her threw at Cat in season 2 but still it makes me wonder....
  14. Yes but once again in the tv series her situation with Ser Barristan is much different than normal kings and queens have with Kg members. Unlike all the other past king and queens that have come into their kingdom already having the resources to rule, or in Robert's case multiple regions and bannermen in the realm to lean on while to try to take the throne, Dany does not. She's starting from nothing in a foreign land and the only people she has right now are ser Jorah, Ser Barristan and a few Dothraki remnants and of course her three pup dragons. Ser Barristian is with her at a time where she has no other real support whatsoever, so her situation is much different than any other past king or queen of Westeros.
  15. http://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Balerion Again Balerian was born in Valyria and was brought to Dragonstone by Aenar. Ageon began his conquest over a century after that, so you do the math lol...
  16. I think living for well over a century makes up for the roaming free part, besides who's to say it had to roam free in Westeros as oppose to the other side of the narrow sea since Dragonstone wasn't even considered to be in Westeros at that point. Plus Aegon l used Balerion in battle before his conquest of Westeros in the war with Volantis after which he returned to Dragonstone, so obviously Balerion had some outdoor time. Besides how much free time do you think Drogon is gonna get?
  17. Well Balerion the Dread was born in Valyria and was one of the five dragons Aenar Targaryen brought with him when he fled Dragonstone, so it was well over a hundred years old when Aegon l began his conquest. GRRM has said dragons grow throughout their lives until they die, so based on that I highly doubt Drogon will ever reach the size on Balerion at any point in the books unless GRRM does some sort of major time skip to the future at the end or something.
  18. Again that's my whole point in saying that ppl can't really say that if Aegon l took Weseros with his three dragon's then Dany can do it the same way he did it. Because Dany's dragons are not even in the same league as Aegon l and his sister's dragons in terms of physical development. Look I'm not saying they wouldn't be an extremely destructive force in Westeros, I'm just sayin to treat them as if they are exactly like Aegon l and his sister's dragons seems a bit absurd.
  19. Haha ya I totally agree, infact the whole point I was trying to make is that Drogon is most definitely not fully grown yet, compared to Aegon l's Balerion the dread who Drogon is said to be the reincarnation of.
  20. It wasn't just fire it was fire and blood pouring out thus the reason why Dany says "fire made flesh" when she observes Drogon's wounds. If you look up Drogon on http://awoiaf.wester...ndex.php/Drogon it describes the scene as, "An animal handler named Harghaz attacked Drogon with a long spear and came close to slaying Drogon." Now obviously I know wiki isn't 100% concrete in terms of what GRRM has actually said but they get the vast majority of things right and the scene obviously left an impression to some that Drogons life was most definitely in danger. Immediatly after Harghaz stabs his spear into Drogon's neck Dany calls out, "NO!" suggesting that she was fearful for Drogon's well being and then right after she screams no Ser barristan tells her to, "Look away." As if he didn't want her to watch what was going to happen to Drogon, so it seems even Ser Barristan thought Drogon might die. So I mean that spear blow to the neck obviously left a pretty serious impression.
  21. Yes Drogon was almost killed in the slave pit, and even though Drogon did indeed leave with Dany the dragon's intial reason for being there wasn't to take her away, it was to hunt because Drogon smelled blood and death from the fighting in the pits, it wasn't even aware of Dany's presence initially. It wasn't until after Dany ran into the pit and made herself known to/attepmted to tame Drogon that they then left together. Any way at this point in the tv series her dragons are essential because they prove that she is indeed Danearys Targaryen instead of some pretender and because of the potenial power they represent once they are fully grown! There not even near that size yet, so yes if it came down to having to kill them they would not be seen nearly as fearsome of a foe as Aegon and his sister's dragon's were. Aegon is not comparable to Dany because his Dragons were all a lot larger than Dany's are at any point in any of the books or seasons so far. Do you think if Aegon l used the exact same method he used when he conquerred Westeros but instead his dragons were the size that Dany's dragons currently were he would have still won? No fuckin way so this whole "if Aegon can take Westeros with just Dragons then Dany can do the same" idea is complete utter nonsense because her dragons are not nearly as powerful of a weapon as Aegon and his sister's were yet. If Dany wants to wait until her dragons grow that big and then attack Westeros then yes she wouldn't need Ser Barristan, but as of right now in the tv series when she bitches him out and threatens to part ways with him there's no way in hell she'd do shit in Westeros without Ser Barristan's help, because her dragons are still at the size where they wouldn't be the biggest factor in the outcome of a large Westeros battle, so she would still need to take the throne the way Robert Baratheon took it. Tywin Lannister would put her and her dragon's heads on spikes. Most ppl in Essos don't give a fuck about Dany they just want her dragons and if she didn't have Ser Jorah or Ser Barristan with her protecing/advising her she would have already been dead a long time ago...
  22. First of all she has three dragons that are nowhere near as large as Aegon l's at this point in the tv series those dragons wouldn't do shit in Westeros and to even get to Westeros she has to first survive Essos, do you think she would still believe alive even at this point if she didn't have Ser Barristan or Ser Jorah with her? If Ser Jorah wasn't with her then she would certainly have been dead in the first season, and Ser Barristan saved her ass in the first episode of the third season so you're argument is beyond absurd. I obviously know why Dany did what she did I'm no rookie to this story, what i'm saying is I understand why Ser Barristan reacted the way he did and there was no need for Dany to bitch him out afterwords for just looking after her best intrests especially if his intial react was one she was trying to create to begin with. Dany would not easily win Westeros without ser Barristan hell she can't even get there now and her Dragons are not nearly as fearsome as you might think they are, even if we go as far as the 5th book with Dany's dragon's growth increase the largest as most fierce of the three dragons Drogon was almost killed in the slave pit what do you think would have happened to it if it were a Westeros battlefield instead? Do you think Aegon l's dragon Balerion the Dread would have almost been killed in a fuckin slave pit? Not a chance in hell so please spare me you're "Dany would easily take Westeros without Ser Barristan because she has three dragons" bullshit. Her Dragon's are nowhere near the size of Aegon and his sister's yet and especially not at this point in the tv series. Dany's not about to win Westeros with a army of foreigners and to win Westeros you need support from Westeros and to do that you need men that have names that hold meaning throughout the seven kingdoms to help you negotiate, you need men that know Westeros like the back of their hand, men that can actually form battle strategies based on their knowledge and understanding of each region and kingdom of Westeros like Ser Barristan does. So no as of right now there's no way in hell Dany would take westeros without Ser Barristan.
  23. Ser Barristan's situation with Dany is not nearly the same as with the other rulers he's served. The kings he served prior to Dany already had things that establish you as King of Westeros like The Iron Throne, a hand, council members, other KG members, Bannermen, and a Royal army, along with the alligance of the seven kingdoms, at this point Dany really has none of that. The fact of the matter is Dany is stiil a lost young girl that's a foriegner in a foreign land trying to gather the resources needed to take Westeros. She really knows nothing about Westeros or what it will take to win it and with Ser Barristan's experience fighting in multiple wars and serving multiple kings at this point he definitetly knows a lot more about ruling westeros and what it will take to succesfully take the Iron throne than Dany or Ser Jorah does for that matter. At that point all Dany had was Ser Jorah, Selmy, and few Dothraki remnants, this makes Ser Barristan's role a lot bigger than just being her simple yes man, he has to advise her, guide her, and yes in some cases arguing against her(for her own good) while still leading her as if she was his own granddaughter. And I definitely do think Ser Barristan feels a grandfather vibe towards Dany. Like Ser Davos once said, "Loyal service means telling hard truths." Ser Barristan was in a situation that he thought required his immediate intervention because Dany was in the proccess of negotiating exchanging one of her dragons, he really didn't have anytime to spare and honestly I don't blame him. If Dany was embarrassed she really has no one to blame but herself, she obviously knew she didn't have enough money to buy all 8,000 slaves beforehand so she should have at least told Ser Barristan and Ser Jorah what her plan was prior to the meeting, and that little embarrasment would have never happened. She should probably show a little more grattitude at the fact that Ser Barristan is even offering to help her instead of bitching, moaning, and threatning to part ways wih him as if she'd even stand a chance of taking the throne without Ser Barristan's help. Smh tv Dany really pisses me off.
  24. Well in one of the season 3 trailers there's quick glipse/image of a scene where Ygritte is stripping down in front of someone who is most likely Jon Snow. So I'd say Jon and Ygritte will definitely form the beast with two backs at least once this season lol.
