I think ppl are really overreacting with the whole, "Tv Stannis is weak" thing just because of the last episode. We don't get any Stannis or Mel pov chapters in ASOS we only get Davos so all the tv series is trying to show is that there is obviously an emotional and very real intimate connection betwwen Stannis and Mel that is definitely one of the reasons(among other obvious reasons) that Stannis refuses to part with her, and the book Stannis would never admit to that even though it's obviously true. If you've watched the countless season 3 trailers as most have then you should know that Stannis will get back to his normal badass self by the end of this season. There's a scene in one of the trailers that shows Stannis talking to a man behind a cell that is most likely Ser Davos, and he lays out a pretty badass quote in my opinion: "The Darkness will devour them all, unless I triumph. We do not choose our destiny, we must do our duty no? Great or small we must do our duty." Ya I'd say Stannis will definitely end this season as his normal stone cold, mean muggin, badass self.

Well actually if it lasts till the end of the book series there will be at least 8 seasons. The 3rd and the 4th seasons are actually all based on ASOS since that book is so long the third season is part one of ASOS and the second season is part two of ASOS....

Wow that episode was remarkably boring up until the Theon chase followed by Jamie getting his hand chopped off at the very end, now that shit was fucking epic! It was nice to see that they are indeed finally adding the Rhaegar element in this season now that Ser Barristan is back in the mix though. Oh and of course I almost forgot to mention..... as pointless as it was the extraordinarily flexible whore was still most certainly a sight for sore eyes. :drool:

No way Cersei might be a lot of things but she would bever abandon or kill her own child. As Tyrion once said Cersei's one redeeming quality is that she loves her children, if she had a son with Robert she would love him just as much as the rest of her children. Besides if Cersei had at least one true son of Robert's than her childs claim to the throne would have been secured.

I'm really loving the tv Queen of Thorns aka Olenna Tyrell, she's exactly how I imagined her in the books they really picked her actress her perfectly. The only thing that annoyed me in that scene she had with Sansa is that they were being followed by Lannister men instead of Tyrell men. I was really looking forward to seeing how Highgarden/The Reach in general invaded KL and the court and in the books they used that specific scene with Sansa to show it as she's being escorted by Ser Loras. Yet in the tv show all I see are Lannister men which for some reason annoys the shit out of me lol.
