  1. Looks like Only Cat is next episode. What a bummer. I wanted episode 10 to have all the best moments like Tyrion's escape, Tywin's death, Lord Commander Jon Snow, Only Cat, and Stoneheart. Only Cat would have been the best scene to end Sansa's arc this season. But seeing as we have 3 more episodes after that, I suppose we'll see more LF scheming and plotting following the aftermath of Lysa's fall. Also I wonder how they'll introduce Oberyn as champion. Will they take Tyrion back to the stand? In ASoS, it happened immediately after Shae's confession, right? With Oberyn having met Tyrion before? Or am I wrong?
  2. What was with the blood on Ramsay's chest? Did he kill a bunch of Ironborn or did he slaughter his whore? And that guy definitely has the balls Theon lacks. Went against the Ironborn bare chested.
  3. It's an 8 for me. Would have been a 9 if the Theon rescue wasn't so stupid. And for some reason I was hoping the trial would be dragged out a bit more, but no complaints. And Peter Dinklage's acting during the trial was PHENOMENAL. His delivery of the last lines was spectacular.
  4. I'd say 8.5. I really liked Margaery meeting Tommen. And Bran and Jon's stories were really good. I'm enjoying the filler a lot. And finally the truth about the White Walkers!!!
  5. The QoT is definitely in on it, and Margaery is most probably part of it too.
  6. :lmao: The Viper vs The Mountain ought to be interesting.
  7. Which spear are you talking about? The one he uses to fight or the one between his legs? :P
  8. I think they are going to add some filler to his arc, involving Craster's wives. Weren't the two of them smooching before Ellaria kisses Olyvar and says he never acquired the taste of women? She wasn't exactly mourning him. Just noting that her husbands keep dying, and expressing regret for not being queen yet. I'm pretty sure she was in on the poisoning. In the previous episode, there's a moment when before Joffrey has the last drink from the goblet, he hands it to Marge.
  9. I found it odd as well, but I think he's simply flattering Dorne and using Dany as an excuse to get him on his side. Were he seriously concerned about her, I think he'd take precautions. I think they put Pod in danger so that he has a better reason to leave KL and go with Brienne. BTW who would've wanted Pod to testify against Tyrion? Olenna, Littlefinger, Cersei or Tywin?
  10. True, it won't implicate him, but you'd think a man as smart as Littlefinger would dispose the necklace better than leaving it somewhere it could be found.
  11. They even had Tyrion think about it. And seeing as there's an entire theory that he was in on it, I wouldn't find it entirely implausible. But more likely he wasn't part of the assassination, but saw the benefits of dead Joffrey and approved. I think Orys was a pre-Targ king. Made up for the show. He did say Orys the First. Also, they've changed the Targ tree before. Jaehaerys II has been removed, with Aerys II being the son of Aegon V.
  12. Yeah, I found it unnerving how he was so close to her. Expect more than just a kiss at the Eyrie.
  13. Which is kind of stupid right? At least chuck the murder weapon in the sea, not in a boat where people may find it later!
  14. 7. This episode was pretty good but not spectacular. Nothing memorable. Plus points - Tywin and Oberyn, Pod's farewell, Hound being smart, Wildling attack, Dany at the Gates. Minus points - Sam scenes, should have shown more Cersei and Jaime, especially after the sex.
  15. I really liked the makeup department's work. I expected Joffrey to simply go purple and keep clawing at his face, but the blood from the nose, the red lips, and the bloody eyes were all a magnificent touch. Made it clear he was poisoned and didn't choke, which somehow seems more deadly.
  16. Fantastic episode. Could have done better with more focus on KL and more interactions of characters, and they should've skipped Stannis. I kept watching Marge's and Olenna's hands to see if they floated above the goblet. I think Marge did the actual poisoning. She did take the goblet at one point just before the event. AND JOFFREY'S DEATH!!! Joffrey's face was far more scary looking. I didn't expect blood in his eyes!
  17. A solid 8. I feel this episode could have skipped Stannis' and Bran's stories and jumped straight to KL after Reek and the Boltons. With so many colorful characters in KL in one spot, they could have branched out more. Olenna could have talked about Mace making it clear she thought he was an idiot, a longer Loras and Jaime scene, more of Cersei and maybe Varys. Oberyn could have been more involved. But towards the end it got really fantastic.
  18. A solid 8. I didn't expect the premiere episode to be this good. The melting of Ice was a terrific scene. You could see Tywin gloating. Oberyn's intro was awesome. We learned he's a dangerous badass in minutes. Dany's dragons seem really dangerous. The seeds of conflict between Tyrion and Shae are beginning to grow well. Joffrey continues to be a little shit by mocking Jaime. The Thenns' intro was scary enough. You could feel the dangerous air surrounding them. But the best scene was the last - Arya's. The fight at the inn was amazing. And the way she proceeded to stab Polliver through the Neck while mocking him as he remembered - DAMN!
  19. Time is a flat circle.

  20. Do giraffes exist in Westeros???

  21. An 8. The episode's start was good. Really good. Bolton looking over the tower, the later scene of Bolton and Frey, followed by Ramsay's reveal. Also the Joffrey/Tywin clash is setting things for season 4. Arya stabbing the Frey makes much more sense than stabbing the Tickler. She was full of rage and the whole callback to her being a killer and saying Valar Morghulis was very good. Only weak point was that there was no shocking climax like dragons or White Walkers.
  22. Got excited to see the eldest Stark brothers in the woods and heard Eddard's voice again, closest thing to a flashback. We finally meet Olenna, Jojen, Meera, Thoros and the BwB! Not to mention warging, mention of Howland Reed, return of Theon and the Hound. Plus: a certain cleaning boy who's gonna "help" Theon escape, only to hunt him down later for good sport. Getting chills. Damn good episode. Waiting for the next one.
  23. Loved this episode, it was more of the travelling characters stuff. Arya, Bran and Jaime's journeys are some of the best stories of ASoS. Arya and the BwB was excellent. I love how they're so merry yet dangerous. And return of the Hound! The moment he said "Girl!" I was on the edge of my seat. Bran's first scene with Robb and Jon and hearing Ned's voice gave me shudders. And then awesome Jojen just walked straight up, and awesome Meera took on Osha - terrific. I love the Reeds now more than I did in the books. Plus he mentioned Howland Reed! Jaime and Brienne was funny, but I wish they fight could've lasted a bit longer. And being captured by the Boltons ... things will get interesting. Poor Theon. I could feel his pain, Alfie's such a good actor. I like how he's being set up, " I'll say anything!!" And hello Ramsay!! I leapt when I saw Iwan Rheon there, scrubbing the floors as "Reek". They could've done without Tyrion and Shae, but I think it's the setup of a Sansa-Shae-Tyrion triangle for later. Also could've done without Sam or Jon, but warging was awesome. Needless to say Cat's scene was boring. Wanting Jon to die? Horrible. And Sansa, Margaery and Olenna was awesome. Olenna was perfectly potrayed, loved Sophie's acting, her outburst of Joffrey being a monster. But even better, Margaery and Olenna dismiss it so casually with a "Meh. That's a shame." Reminds me how powerful they are. And Margaery is awesome! I love the way she's leading Joffrey on, taking an interest in Joffrey's homicidal tendencies. Very good episode. Promises so much more to come. 8/10
  24. Pizza would be a big hit in Westeros.

  25. ASoIaF should be taught in schools.
