  1. You know you are going to miss joke time with Greyworm. That was amazing... It was... Bad jokes... Delivered flatly... Not even dead pan, flat... Like a pancake, only flatter. So like a crepe. No wonder the Unsullied were practically crying. "The story can progress now, it can progress. Boo Hoo, Boo Hoo."
  2. Didn't say we get the battle of Meereen next episode, but we do get it that much is clear. Ramsey has a face so I understand what you are saying. I am referring to theory though, Sun and Moon, which is a book theory that has been popping up on the show that's all. I am not a fan of Meereen on the show either. Yes Dany wins a lot, kind of the point of Dany. It will evolve through the story and the story is not over by a long shot. I am ok to go along for the ride book and show.
  3. Lord Varys is off to Dorne and you know this. Littlefinger has the army of the Vale, the moon. Varys with the army of the sun. Waif aka T1000 finally died. But the whole Arya is hurt, Arya is not hurt, Arya is hurt thing was a bit pointless. Didn't care about KL, Cersei chooses Violence (what a shock) and it appears she is going for the Wildfire. Bad jokes in Meereen, oh great. At least we get the battle for Meereen, and the battle for Winterfell. Hm Dany, Tyrion, Varys, Dothraki (Barabrian army), and what looks like the Army of the sun Dorne. Jon, Sansa, Probably Littlefinger, the Wildlings (Barbarian army), and the army of the Vale aka the Moon. Sun and Moon.
  4. It was ok, pretty much another setup episode. We get the battle of Meereen and the battle of Winterfell coming. Varys is off to get help, hmmm something tells me Dorne, the army of the Sun and Littlefinger with the army of the moon. I liked RR better in the books. The hound was ok, but felt out of place in this episode. I enjoyed the scene but it was just him killing. Cersei and the Mountain was decent, Tommen is an idiot. Tyrion's scene was ok but it was like filler till the fleet arrived. Arya, I didn't really like the scene, I'm hurt, I am not hurt, I am hurt, I am not hurt. At least the terminator died. Felt like I was watching the T1000. It was alright.
  5. Ha thank you, but I did not start the Parallels, people kept coming up with the wrong answers. So I looked closer and started studying the symbolism of the books, starting with the title. Juxtaposition, mirroring, inversion, ice and fire, sun and moon whatever. The original idea actually came from something I heard Ran say. A long time in an interview about 5-6 years ago, he was doing an interview for I think Winters coming, I don't exactly remember he was on a big screen talking about the show. When he was asked for advice on people who would be new to the books, he said read them forwards and backwards, and had a sly look on his face. I don't know for sure if he meant anything by it, but I ran (no pun intended) with that idea. But thank you for the compliment, I appreciate it, and if people enjoy it or it helps in anyway, that's great. Anyway it's not really the place to post that stuff, but I will be writing something up on the what I think is the origin of the Night's King, the Andals, and the North. Quick parallel with inversion, Euron is Iron Born, the Others hate Iron. Forgot to write that in my first post. But you get the idea, the Red eye, the bride of fire, Iron Born. Blue eyes, Bride of Ice, hates Iron.
  6. Good catch no doubt he is a Greenseer or at least a dreamer that's why he needs shade of the evening, he is mimicking what he has seen. It looks in a way like he mirrors the Night's King. But the symbolism is inverted in a way. The eye is red not blue. He does not seek a bride of ice, the Night's Queen but a bride of fire Dany. He does not wear Ice armor but Valyrian steel (dragon forged). The gods on the spears mirror the greenseers on the spires. He seeks the red keep not the Land of always winter. He seems between two events, sort of mirroring what is to come and what the Night's King (If there is a Night's King) wants. Would you believe me if I told you the historical Night's King was a Lannister? You probably wouldn't, but I would make a gentleman bet on it. Ha page 33, I have no luck.
  7. Agree for the most part, and I am not going after the show, I have enjoyed this season. But like that show of force between the Tyrells and the Sparrows, it was pointless filler. I think in some ways they are waiting on Martin, I think it is clear now that they have some of the broad strokes, but little of the finer points of the stories has been made available to them, so they are trying to fill in some time gaps. I think the Vale will fight with the North, but last year they needed something for Sophie to do, and did not have enough of her book arc to work with. So they put her in a different role. They say they always planned it, but I am not so sure that is true. Jon needed a story for this year and part of last year. I understand the need to create Hardhome, they were looking for something to make a splash, Jon sitting around the Wall would have just been KL North, without as many players. So last year they gave him an altered Hardhome arc and this year he is taking Stannis's place. In the long game Jon more than likely has more significance than Stannis, so they sacrifice his story and that will allow more time for Jon's actual arc down the road as their are less players to deal with. Jon gets some northern support to fight Ramsey and his Northern support. The Wildlings fill in for the Hill clans. Dorne literally has fallen off the map. Though perhaps they like Asha are heading for Dany. Then Theon a eunuch who needs some love and acceptance. Greyworm, high welcome to the world where sociopathic slavers have taken children, tortured, mutilated and abused them for years on end, and yet we find purpose to our lives. Yara, Dany, and the Sand Snakes, time for girl power. " Dany: Yo, I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want Yara: So tell me what you want, what you really, really want Dany: I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want Yara: So tell me what you want, what you really, really want Dany: I wanna, (I) I wanna, (I) I wanna, (I) I wanna, (i) I wanna really, really, really wanna Iron throne ah Dany: If you want my future, forget my past If you wanna be my people, better make it fast Now don't go wasting my precious time Get your act together we could be just fine I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want So tell me what you want, what you really, really want I wanna, (I) I wanna, (I) I wanna, (i) I wanna, (i) I wanna really, really, really wanna Iron Throne ah If you wanna be my Kingdom, you gotta get with my friends (Gotta get with my friends) Make it last forever, Dothraki never ends If you wanna be my Kingdom, then have got to give Taking is too easy, but that's the way it is Oh, what do you think about that Now you know how I feel Say, I see a red door, is that door for real (Are you for real) I won't be hasty, I'll give peace a try If you really bug me then kiss your ass goodbye Yo I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want So tell me what you want, what you really, really want I wanna, (I) I wanna, (I) I wanna, (I) I wanna, (I) I wanna really, really, really wanna Iron Throne ah If you wanna be my Kingdon, you gotta get with my friends (Gotta get with my friends) Make it last forever, Dothraki never ends If you wanna be my Kingdom, you have got to give (You've got to give) Taking is too easy, but bitch that's jow it is So, here's my story from A to Z You wanna get with me, you gotta listen carefully We got Drogo in the place who likes it in your face You got Qarth like Locks whos heads are on the blocks Slaves comes for free if your Silver Lady And as for me, Westeros is gonna see Slam your body down when Drogon is around Slam your body down when drogon is around
  8. You know the thing about his season is they are kind of stalling. Dany and Meereen. Dany gets the Dothraki, well we knew that one was coming, and it has not gone much past the books. Jorah, not even a real arc. Ummm Meereen, well not much has happened there, they dumped the siege and Tyrion and Varys talk. We got a red priestess, and an Iron fleet is on the way. Has not actually gone past what was written really. It's different, Tyrion and Dany meet, and well not for very long, but that was expected at some point. Arya, well they sort of gave us Mercy but sort of broke up the plot. She got some random villain to keep her a bit busy. She wants to leave, that has been the advancement. Jon is back. Kind of blind if you didn't see that coming. But what is Jon doing? Essentially he got the Stannis plot which was basically scrapped last year. Brans plot has hardly been on screen but we got Hodor's name, the creation of the others origin story and Bloodraven download. That plot has advanced. A lot. Sansa, Sansa like Jon basically is playing a different role this season, like last. We got no Vale arc really. Still waiting for Davos Mel confrontation. Situation KL is pretty much where it has been fort awhile. Sparrow is taking power, Tommen is a putz, Marg is playing the game, Cersei is a time bomb. Jaime finally got to the Riverlands, book 4. The Hound is back, well not much different than the books. Though they just came out and said who he was. BwB plot? Well that's not really from the books and seems like filler, sort of like Arya and the Waif, Jon and Sansa, or Varys and Tyrion walking around Meereen. The story has not advanced all that much, in some story arcs this season, rather it's filler. Some arcs are actually behind, like the riverlands and the hound. Some plots were cut but then replaced with different characters doing the same arc. The did the Tower of Joy... sort of. That was from book one. We have seen some plot advancement in certain arcs like Bran, some filler in other arcs, some getting back to the books which has taken them backwards in the timeline, and some characters being blended into other roles and stories. Feels a bit like some stalling here.
  9. Lets see, the brotherhood without manners. Well someone got hung at least. Not really the type they usually hang, but he dun got hung. The Hound... in a vest... living with the Amish? I'll take the hanging, thanks. Arya, way to keep a low profile money bags. The high Sparrow and Marg, god I hate him. I hope Marg has a good plan, bet it's a good one. Wait what's that sound? Tic, Tic, Tic, Tic, why it's Carol, shes ticking, I am sure this will help things. Riverrun was alright. Lyanna was the best part, did you Davos get the feels? On man, just what he needed, a cute new little sidekick. Yippy Sansa is back, this is going to work out well. Don;t trust Jon, don;t trust Davos, trust Littlefinger. Davos, I got a great camp sight picked out. Mel, Seriously? Davos, yes have you met Lyanna. Mel, I am fire made flesh, I am Phoenix, born again from salt and smoke to burn little girls. I got a new Prince with that was promised and a new little girl to roast. Duh, I was just early, this was the little girl to burn. Sansa, I thought I was Phoenix. Oh and wait till Ramsey finds out they are there. I need 20 good men tee hee hee. This is going to be so funny again. Gosh which tent to start with, it's funny cause they look exactly like the tents Stannis used. I know lets start with this big long tent, that's probably where they keep the food. This is going to be great. Now I just need a match, and there we... Wun Wun: HOT! HOT! HOT! Ramsey: Oh look at you, you're a big O..."SPLAT!" Jon: Wun Wun, what happend? Wun Wun: A Grumpkin tried to set me on fire so I stepped on it. I gave it a 7, but only because I had it on mute half the time and did my own voice overs.
  10. Yeah but that's why you love her, it's like I love Lucy, but with horrible pain and suffering.
  11. Yes, yes she did, so I took out the trash, walked the dog, and finished the dishes. duty sucks. Maybe I will get sex as a reward. Nope, nope, she's reading, I guess I'll just play with the light switch till she gets mad.
  12. No real surprises, new the Hound was coming back, new Arya was being hunted, way to keep a low profile money bags. Bear Island is lovely this time of Winter, Lyanna was fun, Davos got all kinds of feels for her. Yippy a new kid to replace the last one. Oh Sansa, what is that girl doing this time? Sansa: Jon how can you trust Davos after he had you brought back to life and helped us get the Mormonts on our side. Jon: Ummmmm, cause he helped bring me back to life, and helped get the Mormonts on our side. Everyone loves him, he is super trustworthy and loyal. Sansa: Will see about that. Moments later in her tent. Dear Littlefinger, how have you been? I'm good, retaking the north with my Half brother who I don't fully trust because of what you said. After all you have been so good to my house how could I not listen to your advice. First the way you helped father into the black cells, and then Ramsey. Nothing but love for you Finger. Hey do you think you can do your Sansy a little favor and bring Robin and the Army of Vale to help us. You move so quickly, you are clearly the only ones who can help. Sincerely Sansa Stark. Sansa; Sometimes I even impress myself with my insight and brilliance. This will totally work out, all thanks to Moi, and I totally have Littlefinger under my thumb, after all that Ramsey stuff, he will be so easy to control and he won't try to plot or manipulate anything. It was an ok episode, it's usually pretty tame around this time in the season. Building up to the big finish. Preview looked interesting, apparently Arya not all that hurt, why bother with suspense, back in Meereen either Moms home or someone is firing Trebuchets. Boy that house better be clean Tyrion, or some wheels is gettin busted, probably over peoples heads.
  13. It's the Brotherhood without Manners, they are very rude.
  14. Not really it's just vague, and it does not lead off plot for certain characters. Like the younger more beautiful queen, you got at least two of them. Though Cersei never thinks anyone is more beautiful than her. But when she does the constant comparisons, it's actually a nod to the prophecy, her mind is always on it. She plays this sort of Mad King role, at least in the books, she starts getting overly interested in Wildfire, she has the incest thing in common with the Targs. Where the Mad King would not let anyone shave him or cut his finger nails, or bathe, Cersei like her gender became an inversion of him. Totally shaved, polarities drawn to the same center. Same basic idea, Theme's and story, but Martin inverts the symbolism. By that logic the Valonquar should be related to the KG.Jaime, Loras and the Hound all can fit the mold. As the Mad King was taken down by Jaime, Cersei should be taken down by someone tied to the KG. Her relationship with and proximity to Loras suggest it's possibly him, and he would be associated with a younger more beautiful queen. It's not really just anyone it would seem there are three choices from which to guess. Her younger brother Jaime, The hound and Loras. All could have possible future motivation. Current proximity on the show would suggest Loras, in the books none are all that close to her. Jaime seems the most unlikely given the direction his story is moving, while the Hound could be the surprise contender. Though his future motivations seem more tied to the mountain. While Loras is close with his sister and she is basically the target of Cersei's hatred. It seems when it comes to the mad King or Queen roses often end up dying. After all the Mad Kings son also seemed to be well connected to a certain symbolic rose. It's never about the most obvious with Martin. Many have thought Dany would go mad because she is his daughter, and there is a history with Targaryens. Some Argue she is more like Rhaegar, and to some extent that is true, she is fond of music, and reading, very bright, picks things up easily. But the Authors Comparisons lend her far more to the Nymeria's and Aegon's of the world. If Stannis wants to retake the Crown and KL, he is a warrior, a leader, a hero. If Jon wants to lead a band of Wildling raiders into the North to retake Winterfell, he is a hero, a warrior a leader. If Aegon I invades a country and kicks ass, he is a bad ass. If a woman does the same things she is mad? Though she seems to be a mix of Nymeria and Aegon, she has people she is trying to protect, but also Dany is at her best when she is on the move. Her entire life she longs for a home, yet her entire life has mostly been nomadic. She stays in one place for a bit and then moves on. Martin tend to stick closely with his themes and honestly the show has tried to do something similar. The do not have his skills with dialogue, and lack the amount of time or budget it would take to execute every plot to it's fullest. But they do follow his themes often in subtle manners. Sometimes they even get hammered for it. Loras and Oliver in bed last year was deemed as nothing more than sexposition. Yet looking at the scene we see Loras who is a rose, with a birthmark of Dorne. They point this out for a reason. Because up in the north we have another possible rose, and not the two squires, Oliver, and Olly, both Loras and Jon would be betrayed by them. That is in the style of which Martin often delivers clues in the books. Or now Jon leads an army of foreign raiders to retake his families home, the Wildlings have far from a good reputation. Though some of them we tend to like, like Tormund. But that does not change what Tormund has done in his life, but gosh he is likable. Dany leads an army of foreign raiders to retake her family home. Some like the Dothraki, some don't. But even though Drogo was a horrible person, man did he have his fans, show and book. Martin loves his parallels, and so does the show. I do not agree with all the shows choices, but I give them credit for trying to stick with many of Martins themes, symbolic nature, and ideas. They are far more limited than he is with, time, budget, and world building. But they try. In the end the idea that the Valonquar can just be anyone does not really fit. The clues are there, they can be subtle, and often easy to see in hindsight, but the path and logic behind it will be there. Oh and I exclude Dorne from anything I have just said, I consider it an unidentifiable plot to date and have no clue what the show is doing there. I am sure there will be some point revealed in the future, but right now, not that enjoyable.
  15. So Ned lied? Hahahaha, maybe, books and show, who knows. The Mother was Elia or Jon? What? Jon's a mother? Who knew? Ummm I am a book reader, and I don't lord it over anyone. I will compare the show and the books from time to time, and I look at the changes. I think they are different animals for the most part. Similar but different. I lord things over fellow book readers more often than show readers that's for sure. A lot the more subtle stuff the show does is actually based off book themes, or ideas, a lot of time my fellow book worms don't pick up on it in the books or the show. So you know, doesn't really matter what anyone thinks. The books and the show ask you to question lots of things, but only you have the right answers for you. Story, theme, and motivation. Story is the story but motivation and theme are open to interpretation. Ok so the Valonquar is really up in the air. Jaimie has one hand and is gone, Tyrion is way gone, you got Kevin(Little Brother), Loras, The Hound, maybe the sparrows will be named the little brothers of the poor so they all count. Who knows? It's usually not the most obvious person, kind of like with Joff. A lot of people wanted Sansa to get him, or Arya, or any Stark really. But they never got that revenge. Which is kind of a good thing actually. Your right the Sparrow is the Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla. No wonder I hate him so much. God he is such a phony, "oh let me take advantage of this puppet like child. Oh you don't agree with me? Time to torture you. Do you see it my way yet?" As for Cersei I am not sure what is going on with her on the show. She is keeping this one close to the chest. She seems very confident in what she is doing. Go on now Jaime, go lead an army, I'll be fine. Conflict with Marg and Tommen is not only easily manipulated but taking a side against her. She currently has the mountain and the mad scientist as her allies. Marg has Tommen, her family, the High Sparrow, the people, pretty much all the cards. Cersei can either poison everyone, or make something go boom.
  16. Anyone catch the parallel with Jon and Dany in the last two episodes? Jon and Dany are both marching off to take back their family homes from those who betrayed and usurped it from them, while leading an army of raiders. The Dothraki are what they are and so are the Wildlings. People like Tormund a lot but he did kill those defenseless people in that village. They even seem to have a family member with them Sansa and Jon, Dany and Tyrion, Sansa does not exactly know Jon's heritage, and neither does Jon and Tyrion more than likely does not know who he is and neither does Dany. Very similar. Dany lived with the Dothraki where she fell in Love with Drogo, and Jon lived with the Wildlings where he fell in love Yiggy. Both groups were nomadic and known for raiding. Granted I hate Ramsey more, but Cersei is no picnic. Of course this differs from the books some. Dany has not met Tyrion, Jon has not seen Sansa, and probably won't for a bit. Though I think she comes north with the Vale. Stannis is still alive. etc... But on the show they are essentially doing the same thing which is a regularly occurs in the book.
  17. Well Cersei probably kills him, just a guess, many feel she will blow up KL. Probably goes mad, after being cast down by Marg, and it could be Loras that kills her. He is a little brother after all and her conflict is with the Tyrells. She does not really care about anything else and hasn't for some time. I thought we saw the High Sparrow in a different light. For a guy that supposedly turns away from power he sure seems to like acquiring it and demonstrating it. He can't be oblivious to the fact he wants to use Tommen to gain power and control. same with Marg. I think Jaime was right about him. He forces people to bend to his will and uses the gods as an excuse.
  18. That hand the one that is moving, is Neds. It's a bit of a mess in that shot, but Lyanna died of fever in Neds arms. At least that is what we are told. Maybe Ned helped deliver? Who knows? Find out soon enough, by soon enough I mean the next two years, given how long it has been that seems near enough. Maybe even this year.
  19. I would give it an 8, thought it was solid, though in an episode called Blood of my Blood you would think more Dany. The theme was family, and for Dany the Dothraki are her family much like the Night's Watch is Jon's adoptive family. The Good. Bran's opening vision, Burn them all. Sure it was only a glimpse of Aery's, but that's okay it was good that they touched on him and tied that idea to the plot. It's been wondered if visions are part of what drove him mad and that Rhaegar was partially trying to fulfill those visions in order to save his father. Still unknown but interesting to speculate on. Coldjen, was glad to see Benjen/Hands, it was heavily speculated that he would return to save Bran, and I am fine with that. Ghost Rider has entered Westeros, burning chain and all. Walder Frey, the River Lands plot has returned, and that is for the better, IMO. Thought KL was done well, Tommen is so cute, he thinks he's a real boy. I got no strings to hold me down, Lalala. They handled the Tarly family, I liked most of it, thought seriously, that Castle was a little over the top, the exterior shot at least. Drogon, 120ft and growing. If people wonder about his size, I think the general idea is that he is growing with either the increase in magic, Dany's power or both. Arya denying death, it's a book theme with her. She can't embrace being Faceless, thank god. The Bad. It was a slower paced episode that felt like it had fewer scenes, but I do not consider that much of knock after last week, they had to dial it back and consolidate for the big build up to episode 9. Really not much in the way of complaints this episode, it had some major heavily speculated reveals, I don't need ultra non stop intensity or battles every episode, it's crazy but I like plot development too. Given the title I thought there should of been more Dany and Drogon. He is more Blood of her Blood than anyone else. Reveal could of been handled a little better. But Burn them all opening with Aerys, Dany, Wildfire and Dragon shadow, came full circle with Dany and Drogon so it the opening and closing structure held up very well. I even got why they put her in a desert. Basiclly you have Bran in a frozen waste, and Dany is a desert waste. The imagery worked but could have had more intensity, it was a little flat. Oh and one other thing why is Bran drinking rabbit blood? They have two rabbits to cook and if he needs a drink snow and ice everywhere. Granted in that place, it's a survivalist move, use everything you have, but it's also a show and he was not in such a state he had to start drinking blood. Also would have liked Sam to stand up to his father, but that may be coming, he is not going to let Heart's Bane go. Sam fought at the fist, he has faced the undead, he fought at the battle of Castle black, he killed a Wight. Why does Gilly need to jump in? At this point I felt Sam could of had a bit more confidence which he was not lacking last season. And while people often revert around symbolic or literal symbols of authority from their childhood. I don't know, he just seemed a little to scared, but maybe the confrontation is coming. So I think 8 is about right, the scenes were all pretty solid, some good plot development, and reveals, big Drogon, riverlands back on track, Aerys, I thought there were lots of good things.
  20. I just want to see her get moving, when she returns, she returns, or if she goes some place, she goes. Moving is good, she can arrive when she arrives, but Braavos is a little flat and colorless, and I need some moving.
  21. I mean she is obviously an extremely important character, though I feel Sansa has a serious right to handle Cersei. It was strange, Doors was sort of a theme in this episode. Everyone was basically departing, Jon and Sansa left the Wall. Brie left for the Riverlands, Yara and Theon left the Iron Islands, Dany left Vaes Dothrak, and Jorah left Dany (good scene), Bran left the cave, everyone began a new journey for the most part. Except maybe Arya and Tyrion. Though Tyrion is probably leaving shortly once Dany returns (No more Meereen for the love of god). But Arya is still doing what she has been doing. She's young, she is a bad ass, and nobody really seems to feel she is all that Faceless, they even say it "You will never be one of us." But still kind of stuck there. Sansa and Jon had a great reunion, and you kind of figure Bran and Jon will have one, but Arya a Jon reunion is probably one of the most looked forward too and hoped for moments by many fans. I figure she will get moving but it's like come on already. Maybe next episode.
  22. So where is Theon going? Will Jon finally get a Eunuch of his very own? Or will Dany collect another. Euron plans on going to Dany, and probably will, so we get the complete parallel if Theon and Yara ally with Jon, and Vic... Euron goes to Dany. Calling it now, EurVic will not survive 1 Episode with Dany. I guess he could she needs the ships hers got all burnt up on the show. But god that guy is Zero Charisma. Then again we saw how she got the Dothraki, just remove the leader and the rest is yours.
  23. Lets see, I gave it a 9 and that is being generous for me. Not because all the scenes were great, they were not as noted before, the Kingsmoot was not all that, and I don't drop Littlefinger off the cliff for teleporting, it is a magic world after all, it's probably a non book related spell. I did not find the scene with him and Sansa to be that great, not bad, but not great. I thought the Jorah scene with Dany was really good, he sold it well. And I think part of that scene was the two actors probably knowing they won't see each other for some time if ever, and they have worked together for 6 years and it came across. Emilia has always had chemistry with him. It was really all about the White White Walker revelation, Bran, the Cave and Hold the door. I thought Bloodravens end could of been a little better but who knows he may appear in Brans mind from time to time. But that ending was a 12, and the episode was all about that ending. The episode focused a lot on leaving, moving forward, departure. Dany leaves Vaes Dothrak, Jon leaves the Wall, Jorah leaves Dany, Bran leaves the cave, Theon and Yara leave the Iron Islands. Is Theon to be yet another of Dany's Eunuch's (Oh didn't think about that did you?) In the books and the show we saw Martin spread his characters out, and now they look to be starting to contract. I consider no Dorne a bonus. Still wondering what they will do with Arya, could be foreshadowing her killing Cersei as she looks to kill Fersei. Or she may spare her, who knows. But would like to see a little more direction there. Average scene and did not feel like it fit in with the rest of the Episode.
  24. Sometimes you have scene that is a 3 and sometimes you have a scene that is a 12. Though I would agree it's not a ten. Are there bonus points for no Dorne?
  25. Butchered the Tower Joy, the acting was totally stiff, and the dialogue butchered. Also appears they could only afford 2 Kings guard. Rickon scene, was probably meant for last week, seems like they did not have a lot of material for this episode, I mean just look at how they used Tyrion to kill time, that was basically dead air. The Wall was decent, Thorne was good, Davos was good. Jon leaving, as some others are pointing out it is a bit anti climactic, the Wall has had some big moments this season they are a little flat. Meereen was pointless, slow dragged out scenes with little dialogue. Vaes Dothrak, really dragging out the Dany stuff this year, I am sure it will build up but for the short air time it's getting not a lot is going on. Could of opened the season with her in Vaes Dothrak, or walking into it. I liked the Arya stuff, but wondering if she has any teeth left. Got 10 seconds of Sam, and did not care. All in all not a lot going on, felt flat to me, not much development, the Tower of Joy was so bad, the fighting was alright, Bran was good, but the acting and the famous speech were pretty shitty.
