How would you rate episode 310?

Tell that to episode 7. Martins Theon scene was infinitely worse than all the others.

I'm sorry, but that must be the most fruitless and depressing hobby imaginable. How does that give you any satisfaction whatsoever?

So does every work of art, ever, if you try hard enough. The books are not exempt from this (in fact, I would go so far to say the latter ones could, if one wished to do so, be torn to shreds far easier than the show). However, they key, in my opinion, is to focus on the good rather than the bad. Of course constructive criticism has it merits, but if criticism is all you can bring to the table, then why should anyone pay attention to it? Life is far too short to get worked up over a fictional character in a fictional show maybe or maybe not getting drunk in a 30 second scene that had little to no bearing on the plot whatsoever.

Has it ever occurred to you that if you didnt try to pick apart (incorrectly, in most cases) every single tiny detail of the show, you would enjoy it much more? Just a thought. It just it seems to me that you enjoy moaning about the show more than you do watching it. Which is, lets be honest, somewhat of a sad outlook on anything. OT: 10. Not a single bad scene, although some odd editing.

Because, lets be honest, no one would remember it. Its the RW everyone is going to remember, maybe Queenscrow too, not some story told in 30 seconds.

Prepare to have absolutely no one read it.

I dont really get the whole "Northern plot is rubbish". Yes, it is not very close to the books, and could be seen as inferior, but it has still brought some brilliant emotional scenes, some pretty badass scenes, and on the whole has been, in my opinion, very enjoyable. Robb is still likable, despite a few minor blemishes, Cat is still tragic (and to everyone who says "shes now just a background character: 1. She is in many scenes in the book too, only we get the first person perspective 2: Just watch the character, and her emotions, especially in the Karstark scenes... you dont need words to portray feelings.), and the whole doomed "war in the north" atmosphere has been done very well indeed. The RW should still be superb, in a morbid sort of way.

I know, they should stop taking it from the books. Martin really isnt up to the caliber of the show writers (as last weeks episode prooved very clearly).
  9. Oh, I wouldn't be so sure. I imagine the next three episodes will be awesome.

How would you rate episode 306?

8 I dont see why it is getting such bad reviews on this forum (most review sights seem to like it). The climb, ramsey, roose, tullys and even sam were all really enjoyable. Not as good as the previous three, but not terrible by any stretch of the imagination. Also, with the whole "worst episode of the series" stuff, what avout episode 2 and 8 of last season? I swear NOTHING happened in those two.

    What? Really? Are you serious?
  12. Compared to what? How good an episode of TV it was in general? How good an episode of Game of Thrones it was? Also, concerning the whole "Mormont telling sam about his son" scene... how many non-book viewers do you think actually know Jorah is Jeor's son? NONE of my non-reading friends know, and thus it would be a pretty redundant scene.

Because he was the image of liveliness and charisma in the books...

Look closely in the background when Edmure is firing the arrows, you can see it reasonably clearly.
