  1. You have to let me say it. I've been waiting all season. I told you so. Joffrey's wedding is season 4. Makes no sense to put it in season 3. Season 4 only has a few things going for it.
  2. I honestly don't think this show will survive long enough to cover all 7 books but I hope to be proven wrong. I was very interested in books 4 and 5, but I don't think an audience can be without condensing and with condensing comes faster plot and with faster plot comes catching up with the books and bringing the show to a standstill.
  3. I'm not sure if they will but I think what the fans need is to see UnCat and something dramatic about revenge. Dany is enough for me but some people who only love Stark and care little for the other houses need something to keep them coming back. Maybe the Mhysa isn't only referring to Dany but to Cat as well. Plus it could introduce Arya warging by pulling her out of the water. I wish I could have read or watched this scene for the first time and not known what was going to happen. Internet trolls suck. Some of the most shocking deaths (RW) was spoiled for me just after watching season 1 . . .
  4. This might seem weird, but the Melisandre and Gendry is the first risque scene in this show I liked. From Dany and Drogo to Theon and friends, I never felt comfortable with any of the sex scenes. They looked hot together . . . EDIT: I lied, Jon and Ygritte was good too. Liked the wedding. done very well. It doesn't seem like much happened this episode but I didn't feel bored watching it.
  5. Red wedding this season, purple is next. They are burning through material. I can only imagine how boring season four will be if they go through the purple wedding this season. My friend said he thought they'd give the purple wedding to end on a high note, but traditionally in this show, Dany is used for the high note and the victory at the end. Hence the last episode being Mhysa.
  6. They needed the Osha scene to make their split seem less random. They don't stop every boat that sails past. Dany scene was top notch. And I felt some really strong emotions when Jaime jumped into the pit. It may seem anticlimatic to you, but for a person like him, with one hand, to jump in after Brienne is emotional enough for me. Dislike the Reeds in the show, liked them more in the book.
  7. Yeah, well maybe you could visit George and tell him to speed up the writing process. Otherwise I forsee a lot of scenes that were just hinted at in the books for quite some time.
  8. Fringed sleeves. But the moment I heard it I knew people would think French.
  9. Yeah, but Dany is supposed to be 14 and she looks 20. I got the impression age wasn't a factor in the show. As long as he doesn't grow a long beard and get wrinkles he'll be fine no matter how long the show lasts.
  10. Hehe, have you ever tried archery? From that distance aiming at a nonmoving target, a little practice and you could make those shots easily. She had been seen earlier practicing at Winterfell. As Thoros said, the moving targets are the trouble.
  11. No! I love the books but Ros was still one of my favorites! I don't like where they are going. Just make him a King's Guard already. He should have been at the end of season 2 but I get that they didn't want to so they could exclude an extra character (the older brother). But now that the purpose is served, just make him one already. Have to say I liked the Jon scenes, really exciting. Book summarized them too quickly.
  12. The ninth episode is The Rains of Castamere. I don't think there will be a deviation.
  13. The bath scene was one of my favorite scenes of the series. Nikolaj nailed it. Brienne and Jaime have amazing character development. They redeemed Stannis which was sort of good. I thought the show wasn't portraying him correctly but the scene worked. The fetuses were creepy. I thought Barristan and Mormont were a little too chummy but their argument at the end put them where I imagined in the book (arguing). That sword fight was messy but in a good way. Sometimes when sword fights are too well fought you get the feeling they were staged. I liked the battle a lot. And I liked Robb's scenes too. Never liked Robb in the book because we rarely saw his perspective. And the ending was strong, with Tywin dominating his children. The one thing I didn't like was the scene with Loras. I always had the impression that he was honestly in love with Renly and would never love again. I know sex doesn't equal love but I still didn't like it. But since we never see his perspective I guess it could have happened.
  14. Could someone please answer this for me. Was the music supposed to start before the hand was cut off because it did for me? Or was it supposed to start during the credits?
  15. I remember how frustrated I was when Dany said she would sell a dragon when I was reading the book and I only had to wait pages. Show people have to wait a week.
  16. Something like that didn't have a precedent in the show so it was too random for me. The whole episode was amazing but I didn't like those last few seconds. Thought something went wrong with the t.v. and was trying to hear what they were saying. I like what they are doing with the bastard. The chair scene and Pod was pretty funny. I love how much the show makes me not like Stannis whereas in the book I loved him. Wonder if maybe Davos point-of-view influenced me since Davos loves him or if the show writers just don't like him.
  17. I'll give it 9/10. Davos struck heartchords. Margaery in the show is awesome, never cared for her in the books. Loved the dinner scene. Loved the Unsullied scene. Lots of great CGI. Tywin/Tyrion was intense.
