  1. Loved it. But i didn't cry. I cried in the book. I cry in pixar movies. Hell, i cried in spiderman 3. It missed the thing that makes me cry, so it got a 9. But it was still awesome, awesome usually gets an 8, so that shows you how much i still loved it. Edit: Who gave it a 1????????
  2. I don't think its a big deal. My hair was jet-black as a baby, it faded to a dark honey blonde when i was little and now its a reddish brown. All totally natural. Besides, she's too right as Shireen in portrayal for it to matter that much. Everything else is on the money!
  3. I agree, yet disagree. I feel as if they're giving the 'unsullied' the perfect amount of clues without spoiling the twists. And i feel that all of Margaery's actions fit perfectly with my impression of her character. (strong, manipulative...)
  4. Nearly in tears, i was so happy with the end! Even the small changes from the book felt appropriate. This episode captured everything i felt as i was first reading it. Barvo!
  5. Sure, in the book, possibly. But in the book it was a sorrowful man, not a little child-warlock. And in the show, her blood-riders are dead. As to Dany owing Baristan her life.... i don't think so. He was only doing it to gain her acceptance so he might have a chance to apologise for failing her family. He is loyal to her, as a member of her Queens guard, but saving her is his duty. Dany doesn't owe him anymore than any Queen owes her protectors.
  6. You get that he was checking the wind direction right? I think its supposed to demonstrate the difference between him and Edumure.
  7. Even if it did confuse Missandei, she's cleaver, she knows not to show it. I do recall she was a little startled when she heard Dany speak High Valyrian (in the book, but she was just a kid in the book). Slaves don't question their masters.
  8. Has anyone else noticed the 1-10 graph forms a bell-curve that creeps closer to 10 with each episode...? So will next week be better? or will it buck the trend? I don't think they can get much closer to perfect, but i hate the thought of it getting crap in the last few eps of the season.
  9. Almost perfect. I'll always want more Dany and Arya, and less political KL stuff. But even the KL scenes were good this episode! My partner was all like "why are you cringing like that?" in the last 30 seconds. They did that bit perfectly (even though i still wish it was the dothraki guy with an arakh).
  10. I felt it was more about showing that she's still just a little girl with very little experience or training. Its a lead-up to She's got the attitude down, but needs the skill. Don't get me wrong, i love her character, mostly coz she just keeps getting better!
  11. mafalda- exactly! i love them both because each it a work of art in its own right. if there's a part the book missed, im sad, but its still there in the book, i get over it. I only get annoyed when they make alterations to a character's personality, but its rare, so im happy! You have to remember, its a show adapted from a book that was written to un-adaptable, so they've done a smashing job! Especially with Ep.2!
  12. Jojen sees though his Green Dreams, the raven guides him, just as it guides Bran. If Robb knew Bran was alive, if anyone knew, niether bran nor Rickon would be safe. Jojen knows this.
  13. Really very happy with ep 2. Loved the reeds (i adored that kid in love actually!), perfect casting. Cat's scene was sad. i liked it even if it wasn't in the book. Always love Arya. Maisie Williams is a gun. Brianne and Jamie! Loved! I was sad not to see Dany, but that's just building tension.
  14. Yeah, they've been in it this long, surely he's keeping them around for something important.
  15. 8. As always, i love the actors. but it leaves a sour taste when they deviate from the book. it leaves you feeling lost. Almost makes me wish i hadn't read them, i'd appreciate the show more. Almost, but not quite. Has anyone else noticed the graph is a really good bell-curve?
