Why did Bolton's dude who shot the crossbow stop shooting the crossbow?

He has yet to put sufficient points into the crossbow talent which lowers the cooldown between shots. Will probably do it next time he levels up.

While perhaps not necessary, he is a huge asset for that project for sure, if we are to believe Tywin Lannister's assessment. In fairness, Tywin knows a lot more about Westeros than Dany.
