Yeah, some tv shows have included winks to the show/books since it started, I remember that one. I always thought Parks and Recs was talking about the show, maybe because the first time they mentioned it was when they ask one of the characters if Game of Thrones had been cancelled, but you are right, they can be talking about the books too.

Yes, they have made several references to Game of Thrones in that show, Ben is a huge Game of Thrones fan and Donna says that "those Dothraki guys can get it", and "everyone can get it". I love that series I think this thread fits better in the show section (not sure, I'm new here)

I agree, that's why I said maybe, because if that's what they were trying to show they didn't make it clear. As for the quote, I think they were trying to show bad-ass Dany a little, but they usually fail when they do it.

I thought maybe the quote was to show that Dany can understand what the merchant is saying, wasn't that in the books? Anyway, I don't see what's so wrong about it. I gave the episode a 9, things are picking up and the episode was good, the Jaime/Brienne scenes were great and I wasn't bothered by the music, actually I laughed because I wasn't expecting it, they cut Jaime's hand and suddenly I'm listening to a punk/rock cover if The Bear and the Maiden fair, but I understand why other people didn't like it. I loved the Arya scene, I didn't expect it to be so moving, but the wolf-bread got me, it was a very nice scene. The Pod/Tyrion/Bronn scenes weren't bad, but IMO they were longer than necessary. And I love the Blackfish, he is just like I imagined
