Good writeup on Reddit.  Most interesting detail for me is this:

That's some really blatant foreshadowing right there.  Dany's not tall, so I don't think she's the bride though.  I can't think of any female candidate for Queen described as tall actually.  Is Cersei ever described as tall?  Cersei and Euron, what a powerful villain couple they would make.  A man can dream....

I really wish I had the actual text to get at all this obvious foreshadowing

Cersei isn't going to want dwarfs around though. Unless at their feet means dead?

OK, so without the Iron Fleet there is clearly no way that Euron can win a naval battle against the Redwynne battle fleet, not to mention with the Hightower fleet added to the mix.

Lord Varys raised the possibility in a previous discussion that Euron might use some magic to swing the battle in his favour. Well, after all of the supernatural stuff with captive priests, brides with hands of white fire an so on in this chapter, I would not be surprised if he used some blood magic sacrifice to raise a storm that sinks half the Redwynne fleet, or raises a thick mist to confuse them, or something to that effect.

Vic's lost half his feet, he believes either lost at sea or delayed. Personally I've been convinced for a while that as soon as they split for the journey the half of them returned to Euron. With only Vic's most loyal staying with him.
Euron will have half the fleet for the battle on top of what remained with him on the shields.

No, I immediately went to check the Greyjoy family tree on the Wiki, and there are a bunch of other brothers and halfbrothers, some of whom died in their infancy and childhood years. Thanks to Euron, I guess.

According to BryndenBFish tweet its Harlon (the oldest), Balon and Robin (the youngest).

Seems a little fishy though, there were 3 older brothers from a first marriage who all died in infantancy, then the second Marriage gave Balon, Euron, Victarion, Urrigon, Aeron and finally Robin in the final marriage.
Seems unlikely that Euron would have been either born or old enough to dispatch any of the original three? At best he would have been born when Haron was about 8 or 9.

Urri dies due to the finger dance with Aeron so only one left is possibly Vic.

EDIT - Just seen Ran's post, yeah Aeron remembers Harlon so he must have lived long enough.

  3. You can get the old version already (but it was not made by the team working on the new version) - There will be links on TW Centre or any modd hosting sites.

The one thats out though isn't great, its only about 40% done but it works at least. Its basically Medieval Total War but with a westeros map and factions renamed.

The upcoming version will have everything properly skinned. If I were you I'd wait for the upcoming one.

Oh and you'll need Medieval Total War with the Kingdoms add on. - Probably get it on Steam for about £5

  4. The mod is moving to another site. Absolute worst-case scenario, the last stretch of development will take place behind closed doors on a private forum and we won't hear any more about it until it is released.

I'm not to worried, they had almost ground to a halt when it came to updates anyway. They're basically done so its best for them to get on with it. I belive all but about 3 factions had had full previews.

Just hope they find somewhere once they are done. As the issue is simply Total War Center gaining money off the adverts surley there isn't a problem with this forum gaining revenues? I know its not offical GRRM but its a close as it gets.

  5. Having only watched the episode about 2 hours ago but hearing this morning that Stannis fans were pissed I was actually expecting that the Nights Watch annihilate the wildlings or that the Baratheons come storming in while he broods in Dragonstone threatening to kill Davos for his own failings for the 100th time.

No character has been treated as shoddily as Stannis by GOT but I can't believe that people are complaining that he didn't appear. Unless the above happens next episode I'd reason he'll have more screen time in ep10 than the last couple of mins of 9.
