  1. Now that I have seen the end of Season 3, it would be easy to dismiss it as banal and uneventful. However, this is merely an illusion. GoT has reached a point no other series has achieved. In Season 3, we were treated to more than the previous seasons. We have simply become accustomed to shock and surprise, that is all. This season was as much of a roller coaster ride as the previous seasons. We simply learned to accept the twists and turns. However, this did not diminish the excitement the ride can provide. I am as eager to see Season 4, as I was the previous seasons. My only reason for the wanting the eventual ending has to do with my yearning to read the books afterwards. Nothing else will tear me away from what I see is the undoubtably best television series I have watched in my life. Bring it on GoT, I am ready.
  2. Thank you kindly. Of course, now that you mention it, I remembered that he did show it to Gilly. At least my hunch was correct and it was what I thought it was. Much appreciated.
  3. I have a question. At the end when Sam stabs the white walker in the back, was it an obsidian blade? I couldn't make out if it was. I assume it was because they found the obsidian under an old stone marker last season. This led me to think that you need obsidian to kill the white walkers. Edit to correct typo.
  4. Daenerys in the bath. Best strategically placed nipples EVER!
  5. Pleased that I picked up on Dany's little secret last week. When she had the whip in her hand and started talking, I punched the air and cheered. lol For once, GoT played out more or less as I imagined it would. As a non-book viewer, I haven't found this season too confusing. The last two episodes were saved by their endings. Everything else seems to be rambling along. That said, I am totally enjoying it. Also, I reserve my full judgement until the end of the season. Watching them back to back gives me a new perspective. In the UK, we have Thronecast, sometimes that fills in any gaps. The way I see it, the dynamics will radically change anyway, once they realise who the real enemy is. Everything so far is almost a filler, building up the tension. By far, GoT is the best show I have watched. Resisting the temptation to buy the books has been tough but I think it's better to be surprised. I can drown my sorrows in the books when the show ultimately finishes. I'd like to add that, so far, my favourite scene this season was the chair scene with the imp and sis. Genius. Peace.
