Show did reveal that, more than once, including in Mance's final words yesterday that Castle Black was once his home.

also slightly more cutting to Lysa, though obviously she knows who Cat is either way.
  3. Why wouldn't they be? They kidnapped her on the road, which kept her from getting back to her family. That getting back wouldn't have been all that great for her is secondary. Then they didn't kill the Hound despite her testimony against him. And they took Gendry from her.

If they show the real Ironborn, that will either give away Ramsay's game, or be even more confusing as to what the Ironborn are doing.

Aerys and Rhaegar betrayed their "side" of the fealty contract first, so the Starks and Robert have justification.

sort of a "you never get a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression" situation, I think. But Ned wouldn't hear excuses about WHY he broke oath.

Tywin needs Cersei out of the way, so he can manage Joff himself, and like Tyrion did as Hand, he needs her to quit screwing everything up. If he weds her to Highgarden, the Tyrells aren't going to scheme against the throne, so she is, in fact, out of the way. If he weds her to, say, Greyjoy or Bolton, then he still has Joff being pulled 2 directions.

  12. Or that they had doubled-back? Theon's in a little bit of shock, or something. Certainly his head is spinning from his choice to betray Robb, screwed up relationships with his sister and father, everything going wrong @ Winterfell, being betrayed by his men, captured, and tortured. Hard to blame him, really.
