  1. I just rated an episode of my favorite show a 1. What a steaming pile of dookie.
  2. I cracked up when Qyburn went to see Cersei. "What are the charges?" "Fornication, treason, incest, murder of King Robert" Cersei cuts in - "All lies" Qyburn quickly replying "Of course Your Grace" The way he says it was more like *cough*bullshit*cough* :lmao:
  3. 9/10 Hardhome was an 11, but I reserve my 10's for perfect perfection. The beginning stuff was great, but not amazing; Dany and Tyrion, Alfie continues to be the perfect casting for Theon/Reek. Loved the AFFC shout out. Disappointed in "Lana" of the canals. (It's the little things dammit!) Getting sick of Olly's smug face with "I'm going to stab Jon" written all over it. Hardhome... I was yelling and couldn't sit still the whole time. Wun wun! Longclaw! The end was so intense with that stare down. I started off bummed about Jason and the Argonauts being back... but I forgot all about it by the time we were halfway through the battle. Sad about NotVal, she was pretty awesome. I was waiting for Wun Wun to pick up the slow ass boat and give them a lift  Like when the scene panned out I said "that's as far as they got!? Row ffs!!"
  4. 8/10 I was honestly afraid for a minute that Arya was going to throw Needle in the water. Then I cried like a baby when she hid it. tHoBaW was gorgeous and spooky. Love the shot of all the different god statues. "The North Remembers" killed me as well. I really really want to see some good come out of this Sansa/Bolton/LF stuff. I'm anticipating some greatness from Reek. I am actually glad that Edd did no block fetching. I don't think it would have had the same effect at all, based on the show so far, and I like that the version of that scene from the books can stay "as is" in my mind. The scene was still played out wonderfully. Both Jon and Janos were great. Plus dat Stannis nod. I felt so weird when Marg and Tommen appeared on screen all post coitus. He is still a beet-outlawing little sweetheart in my mind. But they did a good job, and I have accepted grown up Tommen. The Cersei/Marg scene was good and bad. I get what they're doing, but it rubbed me the wrong way. Brienne and Pod have been so boring. At least they were a little better this episode.
  5. 6/10 but maybe that's harsh. Some things are just lame/confusing right now, like the Sansa/LF/Brienne and Pod. I think I'm going to like Jaqen as the KM. Tom Wlaschiha gives me the floaty hearts. I kinda wanted to give a 10/10 just for him (and Lyanna's note).
  6. I am by no means a stanfanboy, but wtf. Pretty sure the episode would have been much better if they cut most of the beginning (sex talk, really?) and finished with Mance/Stannis. I was really looking forward to that. I yelled at the credits :bs: The finale is gonna be a clusterfucking orgy.
  7. Gave it a 6 but that's not really fair. I think that has a lot to do with how depressed I am, I'm such an emotional voter. :frown5: :crying: :bawl: <--my face as the trial played out. How did Tyrion not vomit? I wanted to vomit. I still may. Oh god my feels, this has to be one of the worst things I've ever watched on television. It's a good thing I didn't watch with any unsullied, because I'm pretty sure my wailing from the moment it began was a giveaway. Sophie Turner did a fantastic job as usual. The dress and hair a bit shocking, dat was quick. Grey Worm and Missandei...hmm...it just drags on a bit too long. I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't kill a puppy to look like Nathalie Emmanuel. :blushing: WTF at Arya and Sandor at the Bloody Gate.
  8. I usually don't drink and vote, but I'm giving this a 10. I enjoyed the hell outta this episode! Based almost solely on Oberyn telling Tyrion about his visit to CR. Fuuuuuuuu I am gonna miss him. I feel like everyone watching just shared a moment as we all yelled "Hot Pie!!!" Also, Bronn and Lollys, nice. Seriously disappointed in the Dany/Daario scene. So what happened... did they tickle each other all night? The mood, it was not set. I can't believe I'm complaining about lack of sex... I don't care about "only Cat". While a bit rushed, it worked. I knew the snow castle would never compare to the books, so, I liked it.
  9. Solid 9. While the dreadfort was dreadful, everything else was excellent. Ugh, dat trial! Time for a rewatch! ETA: Even though I'm disappointed with the ironborn/dreadfort stuff, Alfie was great. Love seeing him on screen.
  10. I don't have digital copies unfortunately, but I've read through the books twice. Which is enough to know that virgin is used, but not the way Sansa used it, and nowhere near as often as maiden. I think a highborn girl saying she's a virgin sounds ridiculous. She'd say I'm a maiden. Is it a big deal? No not really. It stood out to me though, especially following the other phrases I mentioned in my OC. Plus other posters mentioned it was most likely changed so viewers wouldn't be confused, which I sincerely doubt would happen. I just hope this isn't a trend that's going to continue, I'd be disappointed. I enjoy getting lost in the story, and it's the little things like saying "maiden" instead of virgin, or "seven hells" instead of jesus christ, that encourage it. The show has been fine in that respect up until this season.
  11. It sounded wrong as virgin is not the commonly used term. I cringed when I heard it, like when Olenna said "all the rage". It's not like I started a thread about some blasphemy
  12. I'm not sure how I feel about this episode yet! Love/hate feeling so far. I am one of the nitpickers regarding Sansa's use of "virgin" though. So we've got "kill the masters" in english, Olenna saying "all the rage!", virgin vs. maiden.... what's next, Dora the Explorer popping up when Dany yells dracarys? "Say it again! Dra-car-ys! I mean c'mon, I think most people watching the show know how to figure out maiden means virgin within the context. Little things like that are what make the show awesome. ETA: Also pretty sure maiden has been used several times already? In reference to Marg most likely.
  13. You have juice on your face, Your Grace.

  14. Got a 10 from me, as an episode of GoT. If I were to rate it based on my comparison to the book... it'd probably only get a 7. Michelle's acting was fantastic. I actually didn't cry though. 40 weeks pregnant and I didn't shed one tear haha. I thought I was going to bawl like a baby, much in the way I did watching Baelor. I was emotional and shook up, but for whatever reason, no tears.
  15. Gave it an 8 because the parts I liked, I really liked, and I'm getting excited for what is to come! Not much new to add, but wanted to throw in a few quick thoughts since I'm new here. -While the scene was kinda pointless... I really enjoyed Tormund's "Har!" It's about time. (last week's was meh) -Seeing Robb's bum was not worth the eternity of that terrible scene. -I admit that I teared up a little when Brienne said "Ser Jaime" -Since we didn't get Hoat, couldn't Brienne at least have bitten Locke's ear?! That would have been great. Ugh, so great. -I really like creepy Qyburn -While not the best episode... the acting was good and I enjoyed Tywin/Joffrey, Hodor's "hodor", The Blackfish, Jon and Ygritte had me giggling a bit -Drogon was impressive as hell -I think we can leave Theon and Ramsay out for one episode please? -The Reeds story is really dragging... more bickering of Osha and Meera... yawn. Just think.... if we removed the 2/3 of the episode that was Talisa and Theon, there would have been plenty of bear time.
