It may be a wide out thought. But..  if the great battle does come to happen, the world of men will be lost. They need to gain valerian steel swords. My thought is that to win the war and rule, one must melt down and reforge the iron throne into weapons, thus destroying the very thing they have been fighting for this whole time.
