  1. We don't really see any hints of that yet. Why would they fall apart for Jaime and Brienne though? Jaime hasn't the best of reputations, and while Brienne has behaved honorably she is still bound and brought forth to Lady Stone Heart. Not saying I don't want a happy ending; I just try not to get my hopes up.
  2. Except the whole brotherhood is there. She would have to cleave through several men who have proven very loyal to Lady Stoneheart . I mean I would like for there to be some sort of solution that would enable Brienne to keep her life and her good heart, but I just find it very unlikely.
  3. Not necessarily, as Jaime may very well be the one to kill Cersei. There is a delicious irony in the thought that the one thing Cersei prized almost as much as herself, the bond between her and Jaime, would be her undoing. As for Brienne, I love Brienne, but she is the one I worry most about. Good and noble people don't last long in these books.
  4. This is a long thread, and I tried to search if this came up but didn't see it. If I have stepped on anyones toes, I am sorry. I feel like a part Tyrion's personality was loosely inspired by Alexander Pope (poet and satirist). Both men were of stunted heights (for different medical reasons); both men were exceedingly clever in their use of words; both loved the written word (Pope began translating greek in his teens); both had problems with women; both were held with soe mistrust by the extablished social order (Pope was also catholic in a protestant world). However, Tyrion is much more enterprising and not afraid of going head on. Pope was much more of the writerly at home type.
