No, the main character in Otranto is Manfred (other major male characters are Theodore and Conrad). Just read it quite recently so it's very fresh in my mind :) No Roland. I think Ran is correct when he says this is a Jack Vance reference.

Haha, well I THINK that it was because I am a pretty gross person (humor wise) and it was the grossest thing I could think of when I first signed up for some forum many years ago - and it stuck with me across the internet. It's also a nice juxtaposition between my hotness (lol jk). Plus I like it because if someone tries to google me to find out more, well they are presented with a nice surprise.
