I think for us the book readers it easy to forget how the show looks to the unsullied. All of my friends, who didn't red the books, are really worried over Jon Snow being shot. After the RW they almost except him to die. For them its a big Cliffhanger.

what an amazing Episode so much powerful scenes. Small council Arya and the hound Even Sansa, wonder how much onions she had cut to get the right look. And my favorite, Jon and Ygritte. Considering what is going happen to them it almost breaks my hearth. Dam you R.R. Martin :bawl: It really got me when I red it in the books, more than even the red wedding. I was wondering all week what they would put at the season final. Lady Stoneheart reveal? Purple Wedding? Coldhand? When they showed Danny in front of Yunkai I was disappointed. I thought really, thats your final scene? how boring. But at the end of it, they totally had me, the big scope, the music, the dragons, final shot, amazing :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: I really really hope they will fix the Mereen storyline in the show. @ all the people who expected unCAt. I would have loved it too, but in the books she disappears for a very long time and is revealed at the end of the 3rd book. That would make it likely for the end of Season 4 And now our watch begins :eek: (at least for a year)

I think Ramsay said it best “If you think this has a happy ending, you haven’t been paying attention" The whole show in one sentence.

I was also a little disappointed with the RW. It didn't hit me as much as the book did. But I wouldn't dismiss Benioff and Weiss rewriting yet. Because they also added amazing scenes which were not in the books e.g chair sequence with the small council, Mill dialog between Rob & Edmund. As good as the writing of R.R. Martin is, after SoS and the killing of Tywin the story goes downhill. It felt like "Lost" after season 3. The story is going in circels and there are many new characters added for them i cant care less. If Benioff and Weiss can improve on that, everything is forgiven.
