Bran becoming the next Night King

Um. Not dead? They have to die to be brought back. Or did you not see little Mormon get crushed by a giant and killed before being risen? Do you think they're sleeping or something? Verbage matters. The "similar to" refers to how they pierced him. Not to him being similar to a white Walker. Your attention to detail is bad.

Bran becoming the next Night King

"Benjen did come back — to save a different Stark in Season 6. ... In yet another parallel to Jon, Benjen was also resurrected. He told Bran that after being killed by wights he was brought back by the Children of the Forest, who pierced his heart with dragonglass (similar to how they created the first White Walkerever)." How do you figure?
  3. My coworker mentioned to me he thought a real kraken would show up, so we did some research.. In A Storm if Swords, chapter 8... "The eunuch drew a parchment from his sleeve. “A kraken has been seen off the Fingers.” He giggled. “Not a Greyjoy, mind you, a true kraken. It attacked an Ibbenese whaler and pulled it under. There is fighting on the Stepstones, and a new war between Tyrosh and Lys seems likely. Both hope to win Myr as ally. Sailors back from the Jade Sea report that a three-headed dragon has hatched in Qarth, and is the wonder of that city—”" So we have confirmed sighting of a real Kraken, not alluding to Greyjoys. Is Euron Greyjoy able to command these?(probably not) Their sigil is a kraken... It's mentioned in the same passage as a dragon which turns out to be real, although not 3 headed (though there were 3 dragons.. and Targ symbol is the three headed dragon). Also in A Dance with Dragons, chapter 11. Daenarys says is told "“No. Hear me, Daenerys Targaryen. The glass candles are burning. Soon comes the pale mare, and after her the others. Kraken and dark flame, lion and griffin, the sun’s son and the mummer’s dragon. Trust none of them. Remember the Undying. Beware the perfumed seneschal.”" Im not sure if Dany has dysentary (the 'pale mare')... but the others came in season 3 episode 8. After comes the "Kraken" and the dark flame. Kraken could be Euron Greyjoy, Lion is obviously the Lannisters. Not sure what the Griffin would be(house Connington of Griffin's roost maybe? Linked to storms end). Suns son could be the golden company that Cersei hired (remember, she wanted the elephants) and the mummers dragon could be the fake Aegon Targ from the books, or R+L=J a.k.a. Jon Snow. Qaithe also has this exchange with her right after.. "Moonlight shone in the woman’s eyes. “To show you the way.” “I remember the way. I go north to go south, east to go west, back to go forward. And to touch the light I have to pass beneath the shadow.” She squeezed the water from her silvery hair. “I am half-sick of riddling. In Qarth I was a beggar, but here I am a queen. I command you—” “Daenerys. Remember the Undying. Remember who you are.” “The blood of the dragon.” But my dragons are roaring in the darkness. “I remember the Undying. Child of three, they called me. Three mounts they promised me, three fires, and three treasons. One for blood and one for gold and one for …”" She went north (met up with Jon snow, helped Winterfell), so now she can march south against Cersei. Undying are her company, who she needs to conquer the South if she's going to take back Westerns. 3 mounts could be her 3 dragons, or could be her Rule over Mereen, then Winterfell\the north and maybe lastly for shadowing to her conquering Kings Landing\Westeros. 3 fires could be almost anything. But could be her battle with the Night King, Cersei, and maybe Jon (since he could want the throne as it's technically his) or the blood magic war hinted at. Lots of cool foreshadowing here that could be overlooked. Not sure what ALL of it means, but it's just a theory that maybe we'll see an actual Kraken upcoming. Anyone have any thoughts\insights? I hope we see a kraken.

    Blood magic...

So someone pointed out in a different thread blood magic hasn't been addressed yet in the show... Could the mountain be how they introduce that?

[spoilers] So, in the end, the PTWP...

I think they tied it all together with Melisande telling Arya she had a lot of killing to do..the scene with Arya, Clegane and Melisandre. Everything that happened was R'hillors plan, so she can kill the NK.
  6. Can't find it on Tapatalk anymore. I did search here. Didn't find it.

Can WWs raise dead who were not killed by them?

The night king can. Remember, when Jon was going after him. He raised the "new" armies, all of the new deaths from that night, who then attacked everyone. The Starks in the crypts came to life though, and started killing the other people in the crypts. These Starks weren't killed by the night king(most likely). So I would say yes z as long as they weren't decapitated, killed by fire, or dragonglass\valyrian steel I think they can be turned by the night king.
