  1. Definitely true in the U.S. It's recently become official that we will do nothing on climate change for the next few decades. The only question is if the hard right will now go after clean air laws. I'll correct that. With the exception of private companies. And maybe a few state governments. I'm sure our ExxonMobil overlords will do a fantastic job.
  2. Amazing ep. Not what I was expecting.

  7. I don't see how they could meet. Unless it was a very casual bump into in a store or something. They were clearly strangers to Saul in BB. I had assumed they'd run into one of the BCS exclusive characters. Such as Lalo and Nacho. Maybe they'll run into Kim.
  8. Trump discussing 2024 plans at secret donor dinners The former president recently gathered big donors for small off-the-record discussions in three cities in recent weeks. https://www.politico.com/news/2022/07/13/trump-2024-secret-donor-dinners-00045665
  9. I think the frustration is that it appears he will walk away from all of it, everything. At the state level included. Also it appears Congress is investigating Trump far harder than the DOJ. You could call that efficient I guess, but DOJ has better powers to investigate than anyone. Exhaustive as the House is being, it's possible they'll miss something that DOJ might not have. Maybe Trump did worse, hard as that is to imagine.
  10. Well, you can't say Biden is doing nothing on abortion. 24. I tried The Witcher 3 entirely because I loved Cyberupunk so much. Also saw someone on this board mention it has the largest in game city for a video game so I wanted to see that. Game didn't really take. I didn't like being forced into the specific character. I didn't like the combat system, despite liking pretty much the same system in Cyberpunk. Didn't like the magic much either. I did see the narrative strengths though and them forcing you into a character probably makes that easier to do. I'll probably circle back at some point. The part near the beginning in the tavern was great. Don't have issues with fantasy at all, but I like playing roles like sniper, hacker, mage, and thief. So that really screwed me up being forced to be a sword slinger and specific one at that.
