  1. Nowhere is it stated that it was Drogons flesh that burned her. All that is stated that the spear was so hot that it had partly melted (which means that it was extremely hot, like I said before), and that the blood coming out of the wound that the spear had created was extremely hot (most likely it was the blood that caused the spear to melt). With a spear so hot that it can melt, covered in hot (very hot) blood, Dany grabbing the spear might have been the best thing for Drogon, but that was, it seems to me, what burned her hands.
  2. On several character pages, like Eddard Stark, amongst titles the title "Lord Paramount" is listed. Lord Paramount is only used for Petyr Baelish (Lord Paramount of the Trident). Should this title remain in the lists of titles? Or should it be removed? Edit: I've removed them for the time being. If anyone disagrees with that, just say the word and I'll put them back.
  3. My post predated my first cup of coffee of the day.. I should learn not to post until I have coffee in my hand.. But thankfully, there's nothing wrong with a little bit of emphasize every now and then :)
  4. And the spear, which was really hot. So Dany does burn herself, but not by actual dragonfire.
  5. I've asked around a bit, and it seems others are having these problems as well, not only with making the picture smaller, but also with making them bigger. Is there any way this problem can be solved? It seems to be occuring with multiple people on multiple browsers..
  6. I find myself unable to change the size of pictures on the wiki. I can make them bigger, but not smaller. When I change the size to a lower px, the picture no longer shows. This happens every single time. Are more people having this problem? I asked on the wiki thread, but there was no response..
  7. Lately, I can no longer see the images on the wiki when I try to change their size from, for example, 300px to 250px. Does this happen to more people? At first I thought it was just the one image and it was just bad luck on my part that I had wanted to change the size of that particular one, but it is happening now with more images.
  8. In that case, why doesn't Arya dream about Ghost? As you said, Bran is north of the Wall, so a barrier went up between him and his other siblings. For the rest..they dream about one another from time to time. There isn't a real patter that I have been able to find.
  9. I cleared my cache a few times a few days ago, to solve the problem, but internet explorer now refuses to enable cookies, even if I state in the stettings that I want cookies enabled for westeros.org (and all the variants) specifically, so I can't log into he wiki using that browser anymore. On the other hand, it does seems to have fixed all the troubles I was having with the wiki in Chrome, so there's no real problem at the moment. But I have no idea how the explorer thing happened, and I would like to get it working again incase my old chrome troubles occur again. Does anyone have an idea of what I should try?
  10. Simple.. Targaryens are not immune to fire. Dany walking into the flames and surviving was a one time, magical, event. Look at all the other Targaryens who were burned: Aerion, Aegon I, Baelor Breakspear (and every other cremated Targaryen), Aegon V, princess Rhaenys, Aegon II, Viserys III.Dany is no exception on her family.
  11. Ok, when on Google Chrome, I have the problem on the forum, and now (suddenly) also on the wiki On Internet explorer, I have the problem on the wiki as well..
  12. Drogon is named for Drogo. If it is Drogo's death that gave life to Drogon, in a way, Drogo returned to Dany.Because the miscarriage triggers thoughts in Dany's head that remind her who she really is, and when she finds her true self again, Drogon returns to her side.
  13. Yeah, it still works that way in some cultures today. So that could be it. It's awful indeed.
  14. Ok, but are we certain that it was consensual on her part? Are we certain it wasn't rape? I know that Euron said she came willingly, but it was Euron who said it, so I took it with a grain of salt.
  15. In that case, I'd say that the PDFs should thus be definitly excluded from the wiki. Everything that has ended up in the SSM (like the ConCarolinas), can be placed on the wiki, then, I guess. But everything that has been read, but didn't get a place amongst the SSMs, should not, I think.
  16. That might indeed be better. A while back Ran posted this: Sounds like a "preferably not" to me. So I guess it should probably be deleted.
  17. Shouldn't the page of Daemon Blackfyre be renamed "Daemon I Blackfyre"? Since his son has a page titled "Daemon II Blackfyre"?
  18. Ok, I've been trying this, and until this far, it works. If it can be done this way for all the calculations, that the /Theories Ages pages can be deleted, and the issue of missing text is no longer a problem. And if it thus all works out, putting in the calculations as a reference, than this is no longer an issue, for these pages, at least. I'm guessing it was just a matter of a page that was too big. At least, that's the way I've understood Wikipedia's explanation. But, for now, this has no rush, I think the solution L'Ós Pelut suggested will work just fine for this.
  19. Perhaps as a solution for the calculations: Instead of [Character name]/Theories create a page of [Character name]/Calculations for those king of things. Because calculations don't count as theories, in my book, but this would make it easier to refer to. Then, as a reference, there could simply be a link to that calculation page. And all those pages would fall into their own category. Would this be the solution for that? That would mean that a lot of new pages will have to be created (but since I did all those calculations, I won't mind doing them, it'll just be copy-pasting it all, no problem). I do feel that the calculations should be on there, since in the beginning, I got to wonder how people got the idea of Catelyn having been born in 264AC, for example. And when the World Book comes out, I expect that several of those /Calculations pages can be deleted, if it is simply stated in the World Book that Character A was born in year X, for example. But then, would it be a problem if there were many new pages created for that? ETA: about 25% of the calculations are for members of House Frey. They could all be put together on one page, I guess..
  20. I wouldn't mind helping with the pages for all the years. The calculations, I thought, might be better on a separate page, since they're not really a theory as, for example, the "Aegon is fake" theory on the Aegon Targaryen/Theory page, but just simple calculations. Placing the shorter ones on the character pages could be done in the references, but those that need a bigger explanation cannot be done, I think. I still have some characters to add in there. Is there another lay-out which would be better?
  21. More of a problem with the wiki than with the forum, but I figured this would be the best place to report it. Whilst editing the wiki, when adding a small piece of text, every now and then, a rather large part of the page get's deleted. For as far as I can tell, I'm not doing anything wrong, so I'm wondering if thus is just a hick-up that can occur (and has thus occured by coincidence with me several times today), or whether there actually is something wrong. When I undo the last edit (after which part of my text had disappeared), the text returns, though my new text is then, of course, missing. I'm working on the wiki page Years after Aegon's Conquest/Theories Ages Edit: Is is possible that wiki-pages have a maximum capacity? I don't really know anything about that, but I'd find it strange that most of the text will be deleted when editing some small bit of text in Also, the text doesn't seem to be completely gone. You can still see it on the editing page when it happens, but no longer on the actual viewing page. Edit 2: I've currently fixed this by making a continuity page, after reading this wikipedia article on sizes. If there's a better way, please let me know.
  22. But it was the same chapter he read during a reading, and where he stated that it was Arianne II? Like I quoted above.
