  1. Okay so @Mindset found a reference in ACOK where originally in the Cersie artikel on the wiki it only referenced they WOIAF app and Jaime's page had no reference at all, the ACOK reference does mention Jaime wearing Cersie's clothes. Thanks Mindset for finding that and updating the pages. That said, i do still have an issue with the crossdresser category itself, it is part of the larger LGBT+ category on the wiki being a subcategory of it. However Cersie and Jaime did not change clothes out of an LGBT+ driven reason but more as a game that they played, Cersie calls it a Lark which is a activity done out of amusement. So while technically correct that they engaged in crossdressing and thus that they are in the crossdressing category, because on they wiki this category is linked to LGBT+ Jaime is now linked to this, even do he is not LGBT+. For Cersie i think its different because she has engaged in sexual activity with an other women, so the LGBT+ category does fit there. I'm not sure how to deal with this, or if its even a big enough matter to warrant a change or that we should just leave it as a trivial matter and would like to hear from others what they think about it.
  2. I was thinking of that to but its only Cersie wearing jaime's clothing, not them swapping clothes so i think its a mistake.
  3. Why is Jaime Lannister in the category Crossdressers? As far as i know he never did that.
  4. The casualties include the people executed in the aftermath, this would be everyone from the fall of Kingslanding to Rhaenyra having to flee. I'm not sure they should be included but i also do not see anywhere to mention them apart from this articel.
  5. I personally don't, i mean no offence but i think its a waste of time. Anything that he put in the show will if important be in the books, and with the real involvement ending after season 4 the show does not really cover any of the books to come, certainly not in regard to any hidden messages from George since he was no longer writhing for the show when they got to that point.
  6. Depends on the medium. Other books beside the main series, yes because they inhabit the same universe. GRRM talking (or writhing) about the books, yes but with caution because he could change his mind on anything not on the pages of a book. The shows, no as an adaptation they inhabit a separate universe, don't get me wrong they are part of the same multiverse and thus very similar, but ultimately to many other people besides GRRM get to tinker with the material and change and mold things to there ideas. As such even the language and symbolism is suspect because we can not be sure it came from George.
  7. I would keep to the order of events in the book even if you are right and they happened simultaneous that is really no reason to change they order.
  8. I agree with The Wondering Wolf on this, it will probably create confusion without it actually solving a problem. I think this is a case of don't try to fix what is not broken.
  9. It is beacuse he has not disavowed house of the dragon, so the comparison goes lame. No its not but i wish you good luck with your fan-fiction of a potentionaly canon category, you have convinced no one and are alone in your opinion, the fact you can not admit that you are wrong or even say that you are most likely wrong leaving a caviate for yourself is telling as to the sheer arogance you have displayed in this tread.
  10. Its not random fan-fiction MUSH and the worldbook have actual input from george who also wrote most of the worldbook, and unlike the show he did not distance himself from it and call it a seperate thing. So yes they are more canon than a autor disavowed show.
  11. Yes you are, nobody in this tread agreed with you so its clear you are in fact they only one, no matter how much you try and deny it. The highlighted portion is the problem you don't want nobody cares wat you want. The fact is they are two different things and talisa is show-canon but not book-canon and there is no such thing as potetialy canon because George has distanced himself from the show, when he did that is irrelevant, he did and with it any chance of something crossing over ended with it. As for you draging Paddy Considine into this, different show different situation and it shows how desperate you are becoming to hold on to your idea of a potentialy canon category even do this idea is very much your own fiction.
  12. There is your problem, you are they only one who feels this way, so maybe you should consider that you are wrong. Yes it is unreasonable seeing who much George distanced himself from the show in they end and has repeatedly stated they are two different entities.
  13. Semi-canon, Mush and statements by George, are more canon then show where they diverted from the canon like there was no tomorow. Also literaly all people on here disagreed with you, so where do you get the idea that most people support your view that show and books are the same universe and show canon is in any way canon for the books.
  14. No, that you are they only one who thinks that show canon means that something is potentionaly canon for the books as well. Its they idea of the shared universe, having the same basic story does not mean there is a shared universe where things can cross over, they are two seperate things.
  15. I agree with Ran in post above you are they only one who thinks this way, which you have every right to do but i personnaly disagree with your point of view and so its seems does everyone else.
  16. I never said you did, if you read back and read carefully you will see that the fan-fiction i am refering to is the idea of a single shared universe, George has been very clear the two are seperate things and that he does not want nor is he going to incoorporate things from the show into the books. This is why there are two seperate canons, she is show-canon but will never be book-canon.
  17. You can try to justifie it all you want but the fact is that this potentialy canon thing of yours is your fan-fiction, she is not universe canon there is no universe canon, she is show-canon and she is non-bookcanon
  18. I'm sorry but this whole universe thing to me just sounds like a weak excuse you are making up to justifie your fan-fiction. Talisa was created for the show when they cut out Jeyne Westerling from the material they used to make the show, so she is a replacement with a total not canon at all status for the books.
  19. In the case of Rego Draz its specificaly mentioned that Jaehaerys granted him the title of Lord, this is where my doubt that this is a standard thing comes from, but on they other hand rego being granted this title may have started a tradition of doing so for those who serve on the small council. I just do not want to put anything on the wiki for titleless people who served on the small council without some degree of certanty.
  20. @Ran I am hoping you know they answer to this from your contacts with George, Rego Draz and Varys are both given the courtesy title of Lord because they are on the small council, is this something that was customary? Because if it is then Martyn Tyrell should also have this courtesy title and so should Tyland Lannister among others. But i do not want to put that on there pages without any proof that this was customary. Thanks in advance.
  21. George himself has said they are seperate things not stories, sothere is nothing convoluted about it. She was literaly anouced as the replacement for Jeyne Westerling who they cut from the show, she was made to replace a book character and as such is not canon whatsoever.
  22. A character made up for the show to replace a canon bookcharacter, id say its not canon at all for the book universe.
  23. I think you hit the head on the nail with overthinking, George himself has said book and show are two seperate things so we should treat them as such.
